We all know this game needs a boost in content. Expectations are really high, especially those still playing this game. I'll wait till the update arrives, i'm just expressing my feelings pre update.
7 new cars are nice, yeah, but it doesn't solve any of the problems a lot of players have with the game.
You are overexaggerating. Sure, content wise is not the best GT (at least for now as of 31 October, 2023 but we'll see what future update hold for us) but it is not the worst either! GT1 and GT2 had less singleplayer content than GT7, let alone the absence of any online and extra modes that GT7 do have. GT7 take more time to full completion than GT2 and several times more than GT1. It is actually getting closer to GT6/GT Sport in terms of longevity and I think it has the potential to reach or even surpass those and maybe go toe toe against GT3! But unfortunately it will never gonna have the amount of content that GT4 and GT5 had, tho.
Completely agree. Remind me of the update where the valkyrie was introduced. Such an amazing machine, no new races worth using it.

I would even go further and would like to see payout for (offline) time trials also. I just prefer those over races and since the races are no challenge anyway, I'd say just let the players do in game whatever they prefer. I played The Crew 2 before and grinding was a lot more fun there 'cause you could do something different every day. And while payout wasn't exactly the same everywhere it was close enough at least.
Like ride 4 I remember I bought every bike just by doing free run laps since I never got into the career mode of that game.
Yes, that's a good example also! I only played Ride 3 but those laps paid really well!

Agreed. However, I'm optimistic that many of the good things we want in the game are gonna come with this or other future updates. Not all, sure, but if half of what we want comes that would be EXTREMELY good.
I think many people feel exact the same way like me.
Not gonna lie, it won't surely revolutionarize the game or make it perfect and flawless.. But I'm kinda confident that it will improve the game significantly especially in terms of content, tracks and new modes (see Sophy, B-Spec e.) more an evolution than a revolution but I could always be wrong. Tommorow we will know! I'm kinda anxious about it.
