Question: i use the Raytraicing VRR graphic option at the moment. As Raytraicing on rims and some colours looks really awfull in the garage and tuning shops i want a graphics option without Raytraicing. There is only the 120hz option with very reduced resolution and the 60hz option that we had before the graphics update in spring, right? I would prefer an option with the more or less 90fps that vrr/Raytraicing produces without the Raytraicing.

Is there anything like that?

My strat was TCS set to 2 and staying a gear or two up. So t1 in 3rd, esses in 4th, hairpin in 3rd, spoon in 4th and I got a 1:42.9 because I was saving several tenths just from not shifting as often.
 
Some of you may remember a couple of months ago, I did the maths to see how much of GT4 you could beat with cars that are in GT7. Now, GT4 is kind of unique in the series in that it's the game that has by far the biggest volume of "specialised" races (those with small entry lists), but I was still curious if there was any other game you couldn't finish.

I've now done the rest of the work for it across the main series, and after what was probably way too much effort and research for this kind of project, I can now present the following spreadsheet:

How much of the Gran Turismo series can you beat only using garage cars that are in GT7? (and what cars do we need to finish the rest?)
 
very happy to see that demon,lfa in the game and now i dont need to have those in my predictions anymore, all cars was awesome except the tesla, it was very supricing to see 1968 charger as every other game has 69 pretty much, i think the 68 is cooler, i think it was the right call as the 1970 challanger would be simular to 69 charger already, the best parts about the update is weakly challanges and increased payouts in custom races through,

i belive we could get another update in mid december, i dont think it Will be as big in terms of features, but could maybe include as many cars, the dashboard showed 500 cars before the update and we are currently at 488 cars, would be crazy with 12 cars in chrismas update, but it still seems unlikely they add that many in one update
 
The Master Licenses are a reminder of the intense suffering I've experienced trying to get gold in the Super License segment, and my distaste of the Lake Louise track.

(Fun fact: during my last few months in college, I had a teacher who I was afraid of, who was actually named "Louise".)

I thought I could never see the end, and that the margin of error was that small enough just to get gold, and all so I could get the McLaren MP4/4 without having to grind for one. I was having flashbacks of these extremely difficult time trials of GT6's Ayrton Senna Tribute (ironically, the car also speaks for itself).

Never believe these videos, its always some made up nonsense purely to drive up views and without even watching it I bet there is not even 1 bit of rationale behind said list of cars as per usual.

Did anyone else notice that on Lake Lousie Long Track Reverse, some of the apex markers either lead you straight into the wall or are on the opposite side of the fencing? These unrealistic racing expectations, I tell ya!
 
How do you unlock the the toughening up trophy? I restored my S2000 ten times in a row and I got nothing? Is it 10 different cars?

Is that the one where you rebuild the rigidity 10x? I was wondering the same thing as I did it to more than 10 cars and no trophy.

You purchase the "increase body rigidity" modification for 10 different cars, the upgrade next to stage 3 weight reduction in the Semi Racing tab of the tuning shop. It's about 25,000cr for most cars from memory so it'll cost 250,000cr for the trophy.
