It's a bit uncomfortable that PP values only change to the current one once you picked a car from the garage. Currently i only have about 50 cars, so i just clicked at every single one of them but it's not very user friendly, no?

BoP has changes, but seemingly not hugely. For the rentals, the RX-Vision has lost 5 HP, the Cayman has lost 4 HP and slimmed down by 3kg, and the Gr.B WRX has not been touched.
Apparently the default/BoP setups have also been changed, so that could also change the "balance" of cars against each other.

Genesis is Gr.1 confirmed

😂😂😂 I think the new track is absolutely terrible. I’ll do the events once and never touch it again.

The new physics feel awesome. A bit more simy I would say.
Definitely have to be a bit more careful trail breaking into corners otherwise your car just goes straight.
Might be a change related to ABS?
Sophy on the Nordschleife doesn’t feel that different from the regular AI. The 2 front runners are a bit quicker maybe.

Decided to relive some of my old (painful) memories from GT5

The infamous Grand Tour Eiger Nordwand mission, I've never managed to get gold on this after nearly 3 days of trying. I just gave up and decided silver was good enough.

That aside, I will miss the old tunnel, the old pitlane and the old jump. These features made Eiger so unique to me, and now they're gone, but I still like the track! ;)

Sorry to ask guys, but will the PS4 Version include the physics update also or is that just for PS5?

Thanks guys

I can relate. Also went through that nightmare

I like the bridges added to Eiger on some of the corners! The pitstop though, could use some speed limit rework as it took me 1:03 ish to refuel when I did a custom race.

Funny how Polyphony chose to use another Alfa Romeo for the Circuit Experience, the 4C Gr.4.

In a dummy term since I don't have driving skills here, it feels like the oversteer and understeer feels.... less scripted?

I'm using a controller though.

Found something at the top of one of the mountains:

Guessing it's a ski lodge, although the top dome part looks a bit like an observatory.
That's probably where my dream about Eiger Nordwand's Scaling with Quizzes allowing to climb more would've taken me! 🤣
(Refer to one of my not much older posts in that thread for that weird dream experience I've had while sleeping.)

Something tells me the Genesis Gr. 1's wheelspin even on third gear is absolutely poisonous, and that it's too fast that its brakes can't keep up. It's quite scary to drive, honestly, but it's a wild and wicked ride, and especially when you unleash all 1,540hp of it.

On the other hand, I tried out the Gallardo and did a 6:47.607 on the Nurburgring (stock with Racing: Soft tires).

Glad my worst fears of forced tire branding with racing tires on road cars didn't come true.

While its cool but for me its more difficult to drive than the Bugatti VGT non Gr.1 that at least have very effective brakes :D

maybe in Gr.1 BOP might be better but its nowhere near Mazda LM55 Gr.1 good
