This question dosen't make sense because whoever asked didn't take the number of fictional cars into consideration.

In "GT7", you can choose from three difficulty levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced when you start the game. The initial setting is intermediate, but it may be a little unsatisfactory for those who have played the "GT" series so far. I hope that those people will choose the advanced level.

Imagine with custom grids, you can set cars to go at a specific time - in other words like the Driving Missions of Gran Turismo 4 but being able to make your own for Gran Turismo 7 - that would be the ultimate game changer.

Compare to GT6 they do, but thats the lowest bar you can set (if it could even be considered a bar in 2013). Regardless i did celebrate back in 2017, but they didn't evolve nor fixed any of the many inaccurate sounding cars since then.

I love gt since gt1..
i bought every Playstation
console because of gt...

I forgive the mistake called gt sport..
But i have a feeling that the gt7 it will be another bad GT..

in the new gt7
The worst car list. (Gt isnt about race cars)
No VR support (because is a ps4 game too)
No b spec mode.
Nothing new about the physics engine.
No gift cars like gt6.
No track creator -editor.
No data logger for tuning.
And more features that missing.

So Mixed feelings about this new gt..

Maybe its time to move on..

I think people need to understand no matter how perfect (or terrible) Gran Turismo 7 appears to be, it will NEVER please everyone - even if the format changed completely or in this case: stay somewhat the same. If PD announced another delay so they could add additional day 1 content and fine tune further some of the AI or other “mechanical” elements, there would still be a complaint about a delay. Personally, I was genuinely happy by the SOP but we’ll get a much clearer idea of GT7 when we actually start playing it - sometimes a promotional video (SOP) needs to be taken with a small pinch of salt.
 
Watching the presentation again, it feels that Kaz wants to take GT in a more "laid back" direction. I don't mind it personally.

In all honesty, whenever I play GT games nowadays it's mostly spent fiddling about with cars. Tuning them and seeing if I can best my lap times etc... If I want to get serious, I'll hop on Sport mode or some online lobbies.

It won't be a day 1 purchase for me (don't have a PS5 yet!) but I'm really looking forward to having a few beers and just chilling out with this game.

We don't know this yet. They dint comment question about psvr so there is possibility they wating for psvr2 show and premiere with this info.

Its moments like these where i get completely sad that i have yet to obtain a PS5 due to restock hooligans and remembering my friend managed to get one by miracle at a Walmart.. :(

It didn't have the same gifts as GT6 so that is not false. I think you can easily come up with the features missing if you played GT6 so not sure why you are asking. It seems only you get an opinion, or is it we just get to have the same opinions as you?
 
And after all, won't Daiki Kasho come back? I haven't heard a single new song from him so far, and if PD is going to introduce a music-related feature in GT7, it seems like the perfect time to bring him back for a comeback.

No. All the cars in GT1 were new to the series by default. GT3 had a major visual upgrade. The quantity was disappointing, the quality not. In GT7 there are almost no vehicles new to the series and almost no cars made after 2020 in the list. And there is a giant lack of other cars than coupes. Also there are no really unique cars like in previous GT's as the Cizeta, Tommy Kaira, Lotus Esprit GT1, Proto, Gillet, etc...

He is producing new music for the game, my guess is it will be part of the game intro if anything
 
One thing that suddenly irks me about GT7 graphics after watching the SOP stream is the plastic-like appearance of reflective surfaces, whether it’s car exteriors or a plate inside the GT Cafe. GT Sport did an amazing job making different materials look real, but in GT7 many things seemingly look fake. Maybe it’s a matter of getting used to the graphics, but I really didn’t get this impression from the game prior to yesterday’s stream. Really weird.

The game looks great, i’ll wait until I actually play it until I jump to any conclusions about ai, physics, etc.
 
The best gt 7 for me and the true fans.
Put the classic world map like gt4 .
Put ALL the features from all the past GT like better track editor .. professional tuning with data logger and more..
Put all the unique cars from all categories.
(Not only race cars or exotic but unique)
Put like every new gt game new graphics high end graphics like always.. ( only ps5)
Full psvr support..
And create the best physics engine. ( They can. they have years of experience)

And make history..

I played for more than 3000 hours, and the features which are missing (Besides the ones he mentioned) are
  1. Sessional Events
  2. The Goodwood festival of speed
  3. Ayrton Senna tribute
  4. Moon mission
  5. GPS visualizer

We've seen this kind of things in the past.
I remember there were a video of Nissan showing off a CGI Fairlady Z drifting in a circuit, and then older Z cars showing up; people went crazy because of how similar it looked to Gran Turismo, but in the end, it seems that the brand central won't include this new Fairlady Z which is a shame, I hope it'll hope in a future DLC.

And remember, just because an ad looks similar to GT, it doesn't mean that the game will include that car.

EDIT: Is it me, or they now added mountains on Tokyo Expressway?

Kaz has always expressed how he wanted GT players to become better drivers, but, with GTS, he kinda missed the point.

Not everyone who enjoys the sport of driving wants to get into motorsport. They enjoy driving, but they're satisfied with beating themselves, not qualifying for a pro league. They just want to visit a track day and drive their car on the track, no matter how slow it is. They don't want every race to be a FIA-sanctioned event with full application of flag rules and racing penalties. And they absolutely don't want to be forced to make their whole gaming setup centered around their sim racing hobby in order to enjoy the game.

T10 sorta kept this ethos in Forza Motorsport 7 but they were cannibalized by Playground's Forza Horizon, because Forza Horizon is an even more casual game. I think GT can fill the role of being that game for people who want a relaxed experience but without any of the absurdity and obnoxiousness of Forza Horizon. In short, a game for people who want what GT and FM used to be: believable, but not hardcore.

I suspect he didn't really mean what he said when GTS launched (that GTS was the next evolution of Gran Turismo) and only made an e-sports game because PD was way behind when it came to content, but fact remains that he said it and he speaks in PD's name.

This is what I am looking forward to the most. Start with 20K credits, have a go at a really crappy car in the second hand market because you can’t buy anything better. And then having to work your way up from there from race payouts. :cheers:

I'd go with the Demio just for the laughs, but one part of me just implores me to buy the Aqua just because it's new to the franchise.
Speaking of new cars to the franchise, I hope Polyphony keeps expanding its trusted outsource companies for newer and more updated cars.
