It is absolutely great to drive on the ring, and a bit scary. It was a Touristenfahrt ofc, but the cars that overtake you are magnificent and intimidating. Most spectacular was a McLaren 720S ringtaxi that blasted past us in a wheeze ..
. But also the number of crashes is sobering, at least a couple per day .....

I could guess that an overhaul would be a complete refresh aka a new engine and a swap would be like the 996 engine in the Beetle.
 
I'm a little disappointed the cones are gone. GTS cone physics are awesome. lol.

just a quick question. I pre ordered GT7 on PS5 but its not yet downloading. Just would like to know when I'll be able to preload the game ?

You already can - at least I just did it in Germany. Just look it up in your library and hit download.

It could launch you in a race back in gt4 (like a mini game within gt7) But the whole setup has to be gt4, graphics, hud, music, handling :) It could be a hilarious easter egg!

The two options are Overhaul Engine, and New Engine. Both options are detailed in the menu as "restore current engine" and "replace engine with new." There's no mention or likelihood of those two options being a "swap."

yea so i did that but its just not downloading. i downloaded 2 other games to make sure it works and those 2 games downloaded just fine, just GT7 isnt downloading
 
Another angle..any chance that 996 swapped Beetle could be a prize car and we all hoped engine swaps were a thing?

That´s weird. Just to be sure - you go to library, select GT7, 3 versions pop up (PS5, PS4 & Soundtrack), you choose PS5, hit download and nothing happens?
