My luck is forever bad. Even on 3-star tickets, 3 times in a row I got 10,000. Overall, I'm prone to getting the lowest credits. I hate it when I get 5,000. Sheesh

It isn't luck, the roulettes are rigged for lower payouts.

People always complain about the weather in England. People complain about this being a game and not wanting it to mimic real life. Yet people complain it doesn’t rain in Brands 😂

Once you memorize the track you just have to keep an eye when the corners come, i can do this only in fisherman ranch Sadly, Sardegna's jups are too infamous...

Woke up this morning and all 4 of my expired invites were finally gone. They had original expiration dates of 3/25 and 3/26.

I'm sure some if not most must've noticed this....
When in a championship set of races, if you were to win the first race ahead of the fastest car on the track, typically in the second race the classified starting order either should be myself in the first place or in the last place if going by reverse grid order. But what happens is you'll start last whereas the second placed car which was the fastest as per performance, starts first.
Maybe this is the way of PD to make the race more challenging?

I think GTP should have a video channel. Community interest content like past GT Finals, lap guides from those events by finalists, tutorials on driving, tutorials on livery and photos an so on. A lot of these are often reposted when questions are asked. All in one place would make it a easy to use resource for new players. Maybe a tips for new players playlist?

This should really be on our GT home page like the GT Sport "Tips" tab which was never updated beyond How to upload a decal.

Oh yeah you're right. You need to pay extra attention to Sardegna. Watch the speed for the jumps and gearing for the corners but honestly it's fun. I'm just trying to break my own record and studying the course and the car.

And I usually grind this track while listening to Conan's podcast so it's really great.

Considering 4 chassis exists and one half uses the cross plane crank version of the M119 (Le Mans, Chassis 003 and 004) while the other half uses the Flat Plane crank version of the M119 (FIA GT, Chassis 001 and 002), I'd be interested in knowing what makes you say that.

Looking at GT's short history of having 24 Hour races (Which were a miracle on PS2 considering sometimes in my experience it could be abit..fussy), I'd be shocked if they didn't. Going off that same history though should they do it the exact same way, be prepared to have most of the game locked off to you until you complete that race.

I still cannot wrap my head around why they decided to change GT Sport physics and tires so dramatically. That game felt on point right out of the box, but GT7 still feels uncomfortable despite having played it pretty much on a daily basis for a month now.

Yes, when you point this out to some people they sling insults like "crap driver", well actually no, I'm very fast in GT7, it's not an issue of taming the cars. It's just wrong in a fundamental way, IE not realistic.
 
Gosh, i hate how everything has to be taken over from GT Sport manually... missing a decal (uploaded by someone else) which i can't find on GT7 but exists on GT Sport (found thanks to the 3rd party search engine). Now i can upload a livery on GT Sport, and then transfer it over to GT7, just to finish it there. Almost. Because that decal still isn't properly uploaded and can't be used on the windscreen as GT Sport didn't let you change them.
 
The official Facebook page of Gran Turismo just put up a post asking what cars do people want in GT7. Wonder if they are starting to working on new updates.

They already started a while ago. No way they'll model a car in a few weeks, considering the next cars are coming this month.
 
Somehow didn't catch this before, but I just noticed the car lacks the blue stripes that it had in all its previous appearances.

Lots of questions as to why this car has been modelled the way it has (Apart from the obvious alcohol sponsorship). As far as I can work out, not one die-cast or scale model that replicates the FIA GT cars or the Le Mans cars have those BBS wheels.

True, but a surprising number of people won't realise this. Some of the requested cars will be ones that they have already been working on, meaning PD can say, "Look, we heard you, here is the MG Maestro you've been asking for."

What? Just me?

It was mislabled as "CLK GTR" (as well as in GT PSP and initially in GT5 as well until a later update that corrected the name)

I just want to say that PD has done a fantastic job with the weather system. One of my long time complaints with GT is that the tracks felt so dead. A few AI people walking around helps but it only does so much. (to a point I think they still are, but...) With the new weather system it brings some life into them. Just did a 1 hour custom race and having the circuit be in shadow one minute and sunny the next as the clouds pass overhead makes me happy. Having clouds change from one lap to the next is great. There are definitely some improvements to be had, but it's a HUGE step up visually. Even on PS4.
 
This took a little longer than I planned due to the current game economy but I finally able to start doing custom races with a field full of my liveries I've made since GTS.

Given the 100+ more GT3 liveries I still need to import and make on new cars (Ford GT and R8 Evo), I'll will get to the point where I will have nearly a unlimited amount different grid combinations with just my design to race against.

It’s a public relations trick. They encourage people to start requesting cars although the answers they give have no real bearing on the cars coming to the game. Then new cars get announced soon thereafter, and some people will by sheer coincidence see a car they requested coming up. PD will effectively make it seem like their wishes had been heard, although they really weren’t. Cheap shortcut to make the community feel valued.

Many of the cars scheduled to arrive in GT7 throughout 2022 have probably been in planning for months already.
