It's pretty disappointing really. Lacklustre car selection aside, a 'new' layout being the same layout but with a different pit lane is pretty poor considering everything they could have added.

Here's hoping for some new events, otherwise this is a write off for me.
Absolutly. THAT was all PD could did after nearly two months of release? And the negative feedback?

Hope both variants of Spa will have 24hr cycle, although I doubt it since Nürburgring 24Hr has it, but Nordschleife doesn't.

Please guys don't forget that GTS first update too had only three cars, but then we started to have something like 10 cars for update, gt7 came out just less than two months ago, they need time to fix the minor bugs and to stabilize the game.

P.S. the GT300 Subaru, for me, is a dream, ngl.

No, they had five years to do that. This game is fully based on GT Sport, it shouldn't be worse than GT Sport in many areas. It shouldn't have less events and a worse career mode overall, it shouldn't have worse multiplayer, it shouldn't be this glitchy. And on top of that, they did not add any tracks that were new to the series and only about 100 cars (which did not fix the issues the car roster has and arguably made things worse - there are barely any cars from 2017 onwards, let alone race cars, and a lot of cars lack a decent amount of peers, such as the 90's GT500 cars).

So when they're only adding a duplicate, a race car without any of its peers, and a car that isn't new to the series, alongside a duplicate track layout (after they lied about adding multiple new layouts), that's just unacceptable. Those glitches better be entirely gone, and that career mode better be filled to the brim with new events.

Lots of good sounding fixes. 3 new events is a bit disappointing.

I'll be interested to get in some RWD cars to see how they feel now.

Patch notes sound good, although a bit disappointed not to see anything on lobbies :(

Just a big thank you to all the livery designers out there. Now we can get full classic Gran Turismo nostalgia with these!

one of the most important things is that of the lobbies and they don't fix it, it's a disaster

It's almost incomprehensible that Lobbies have not received any improvement at all, closing in on 2 months after release. The current state of them is absolutely horrific and I cannot understand how or why so many standard features from GT Sport were removed? Disappointing.

I am especially pleased with many of the fixes for the pad. I am unable to use a steering wheel controller due to family reasons.
I haven't even applied the update yet, but I am hoping that the throttle opening is properly linked to the trigger pull.

Slightly underwhelmed,but it is what it is.I was hoping for the option to sell cars but maybe later on.

I also noticed a certain thing to expedite your earnings has been unaltered

Nice to see the new audio options in the Race Menu.

Given that each car view has a different sound profile, I'd like to have the option of selecting one's favourite audio profile irrespective of which view one uses for a race...

i.e. I always race using the Chase cam (a throwback to the original GT games!) but I prefer the sound of the car when using the in-car view; will these audio options let you replicate any sound profile?

@TheAdmiester Excellent news, though it does mean I'll have to edit my GTP gallery now!

The BRZ GT300 is in Gr. 3 and has the following specs:

478hp/1150kg/FR/T/F4

Added bonus: Ignition and start-up roars are back when selecting a car from your Garage.

Do ones for the Supra JGTC exist e.g. au Cerumio, ESSO Ultraflo, Denso Sard, Castrol Tom’s 01 etc? Even any from Gran Turismo 2 only? Imagine the custom races now - you could recreate races from Gran Turismo 2/3/4 or something - Japanese Touring Car Challenge for example.

Is the sound different for each car?

Is the sound different for each car?
Sounds were pretty much the same for cars that were previously in GT Sport, but there are those with new sounds (e.g. the Porsche VGT and numerous other new cars).

Damn the brz sgt is an absolute beast in the corners (gt300>>>>>gt3) and the sound is soo accurate

You gotta be kidding? The one thing that actually is different on the track itself and they didn't change it?

Well I'm a bit puzzled because I've seen a screenshot of someone going down to Eau Rouge with 3 seconds of the lap done in a race, but in time trial it's definitely just the regular start line, so it could just been that the races start from the 24h line and time trials start from the F1 line.

Weird.

11. Car Behaviour
 - Adjusted the geometry calculations algorithm for the suspension. This has resulted in improved traction for rear-wheel drive cars and lessened reactions to weight transfer;
 - Adjusted the relationship between the controller inputs (Analogue stick, R2 button, Accelerator pedal on a steering wheel controller) and the position of the throttle.
 - Adjusted the steering speed of the analogue stick;
 - Adjusted the force feedback in the following steering wheel controllers:
  ・Fanatec® Podium
  ・Fanatec® GT DD Pro
  ・Fanatec® GT DD Pro + BoostKit

 - Adjusted the brake pressure control for all four brakes when entering a corner. As a result, the braking distance is reduced in general;

Yeah, I'm not gonna defend this. It's pretty underwhelming for an update.

I mean, I like the cars shown, but 3 isn't enough. It should have been 5 at least. For Spa, the 24 hr layout is about the same as what we have now. If it was the 60s or 80s layout, then it would be interesting. But no, it's just a pit lane change with a new starting line location.

While I'm aware that GT Sport's 1st content update started like this, I still don't think that should be used as an excuse.

As was told milion times. First GT Sport update was also "small" just wait for another one. I am pretty sure we will see better updates in may.
