People complain about selling cars all day and yet there's still no willingness to, like, file a false advertising class-action lawsuit about it, considering it was on the PS Store page?

Lawsuits are expensive. Nobody has the money to lose. You do a lawsuit against PD and you're not just taking them on but you'll be taking on SCE, and lets just say they'll be able to hire 'better' attorneys than the average Joe.

Not saying they'll be included, but these wouldn't be in the trailers as they're "features" as opposed to content updates, so you'll have to wait for patch notes. They didn't add "online time trials" or additional missions etc to the trailers previously when added.
 
Remember the "known issues" page? Whatever happened to that? Something about "preparing" in lobbies. It would give us an idea of what fixes may be coming up but I guess that's too much information for us plebeians.

I've been wanting a few more layouts for Catalunya since they added it to GTS, so I'm genuinely pleased with this announcement.

It's still there on the website but it wasn't updated after the last game update

That was just too sensible when you think about it really. Now it's in line with the more traditional "you're lucky if it's even vaguely implied" approach PD takes to communication.

I guess the no chicane version is the original layout, I really hope they don't milk this out over the next 3-4 yrs adding existing layouts that should have been in from the beginning.

It does sort of seem odd that they're adding these additional layouts that you'd think would have been easiest to do at the same time as the rest of the track.

Given how light the content added has been so far then I sort of understand why they might want to hold material back, but it seems odd to think that they couldn't have had these minor layout alterations in at release. It would have made the game look a lot better when it came out and they could focus on bringing one new track* to the game every three months or so. That seems like not much, but if there was substantial additional career content added in the two months in between I doubt people would pipe up much.

*With all appropriate layouts. I expect them to use their monthly slot to release Watkins Glen Long and Short with no chicane at some point, despite the track being right there.

If leaks are to tell, it might be Nurburgring that might get that treatment.

So the update is out, but we still have to wait for the GTO and MP4 to appear in legendary. That is so disappointing, I could careless for the tomatomobile. 😮‍💨

It's always the case because the LCD updates at 1am BST and the updates come out at 8am BST. Impossible for them to appear until the next update. I suppose they could update the LCD again on update days but clearly PD can't or won't do that.

The special edition Tomasso is available right now so they most definitely can just add them whenever. For some reason they choose not to though.

Wasn't the regular Mangusta already in there though? Are both there now, or just the Dior version?

Both are there. The Dior one is also labeled as Hot like the new cars when they arrive, it also has different learn more dialogue than the regular one.

Yep, I mean they spent more words in the patch notes promoting Dior and Hagerty and explaining where they'd placed some logos than they did explaining major changes to the physics engine. It'd be funny if it wasn't so frustrating.
