Pretty neat that same warehouse was seen in the GT7 trailer briefly. I'm betting it will be used as an optional backdrop for GT Home or something in the game. All the raytraced reflections and lights look gorgeous.

I'm shocked the Gr.4 Supra or GT4 Supra were not featured or displayed or utilised. Even the JGTC GT500 Castrol Supra, as a nod to the history of Supra.

I'm not. They used cars that are already in the game and/or are readily attainable in-game, something the Gr.4 Supra isn't (nor are the others by virtue of being, well, not in the game.

Kazunori posted this on his Facebook, could be GT7? Cause it looks way better than anything in GT Sport, especially the reflections.
I think this might be from real life

How is the GR.4 Supra not readily attainable? It's in the game. Just requires a 0 or 1 to place it in Brand Central. The car is being used by the AI. I'm sure PD could have gifted those cars to the finalists or had them choose the cars.

Besides, I'm talking about putting the cars I mentioned, next to those Supras in the pic.

The Survey, remember? Doesn't matter that PD "could" do that because they aren't AND they won't so it therefore remains unattainable to anyone that didn't complete the Survey.

See that's the thing: That entire thing is green screen and those car models are the straight from the game, Something the official GR Supra GT4 AND the old Castrol Supra GT isn't.

The survey has nothing to do with displaying the GR.4 Supra. Then, PD may as well not bothered to program it for AI use. Since, I mean, all those GR.4 cars ARE in the game.

The JGTC GT500 Supra is wishful thinking. Not a demand. If it's there or not, I don't have anything invested in it. I'm just shocked as a partnership with Toyota and displaying the generations of Supra, those could have been displayed. Especially as a legacy model in the GT franchise.

I guarantee I won't lose sleep over it.

Speaking of Supras, my brother's selling his 1984 dark-blue beastie right now. It's been sitting in my lean-to for a decade.

Destined to be a classic. Does GT have this model?

Yes the Survey had nothing to do with displaying the car in-game but again, the cars they chose to display for this event are all cars that were not time limited and are freely available to attain even now (either in-game or via PSN store) while the Gr.4 Supra is none of those things. It would've abit deceptive to feature a car that was only available for a limited time and isn't available now like the other cars around it.

I think it's pretty cool they did this, haha. Actually gets close to feeling like the previous Live events, and way better than just watching Tom and Jim commentate from their rooms at home in a zoom call.

The person must be out of his perfect judgment to criticize an excellent job like this. 👍

I agree. In fact I'd go even further and say that a sizeable chunk of the playerbase is not even aware of the Gr.4 Supra's existence and showcasing it there would probably have gotten some people excited, only for that excitement to turn into disappointment upon realizing it's actually been there all the time and they can't have it. It's incredibly easy to generate disappointment out of nothing in the games industry, especially with a crowd as starved for a new game as the Gran Turismo fanbase.

Boy, we really don't have anything worthwhile to discuss here do we?

Wait till another VGT gets revealed and everyone innmediately thinks the trailer includes GT7 footage to overanalyze

Interesting to note that in the intro for today's Manufacturers Series, they've used shots from the GT7 trailer. Don't remember seeing that at all for the Nations Cup regional finals.

Not sure if anyone noticed this but this clip is different than the one in the trailer. Behind the red Mazda there is a Corvette Gr.3 instead of the mustang gr.3 in the trailerView attachment 979283
Not really

You could've quoted me at the very least. Besides, I wasn't being critical at all.

I really doubt it. Middle of the afternoon Europe time on a Sunday is not exactly a traditional time to launch a trailer, and it's not like the event itself is popular enough on its own to draw in enough people, it's not CSGO or Fortnite.
