Hi guys,

I'm having trouble understanding something.

Everyone says that Ray Tracing in GT7 is only for replays and for playing it's better to prioritize performance for better fluidity.

I only do Time Trials so I'm alone on the track but when I look ahead I get a blurry feeling like when it's hot and you're looking far away on a real road.

This Performance mode is really annoying for me but when I switch to Ray Tracing mode it's much sharper and I feel more fluid.
However this should apparently only have an impact on replays.

Are you more of a Ray Tracing or performance mode ?

I play with a PS5 and a 32-inch Odyssey Neo G7.

Higher fluidity would be frame rate related.
Iam biased towards frame rate myself over resolution, but since Ive moved to PS5 pro I think Ive the best of both worlds now. I'm excited to see what PSSR 2.0 will offer next year (this should help stretch both frame rates and graphical fidelity to new levels.)
