Gran Turismo 7 Undocumented Changes Thread (Update 1.62)

Adding a widebody to the Avantime doesn't change anything, the width of car remains 1835mm. The preview also doesn't show any change.

Not sure how that's an Undocumented change when its happening to a car that has just been added to the game.

Not sure if a change, or a bug fix or if I've just been lucky, but anyway. Since some time earlier this summer I've had problems with the FFB and calibration of my T-GT II as every now and then the FFB has remained nearly non-existingly light from the initial connection and the wheel has felt more like a 360 degree than a 1080 degree model. Disconnecting and reconnecting has fixed it, some days have needed a couple of tries though, but since 1.62 there haven't been any issues.
 
I have seen the Most egregious Penalties that NEVER GET CALLED ANYMORE AT ALL.....I'm gonna go ahead and say it GT7 HAS THE ABSOLUTE WORST PENALTY SYSTEM PERIOD......It's bad when Forza Motorsport gets something more right than Gran Turismo honestly it's just sad! People put maneuvering actual RAMMING PEOPLE OFF THE TRACK AND NOTHING GETS CALLED OR A .5 I IN FACT HAVENT SEEN A 3 OR 4 SECOND PENALTY SINCE THE UPDATE AND I RACE MINIMUM 2-3HRS A DAY IN SPORT MODE! It's honestly sad and obviously all the TRASH ASS DRIVERS ARE GONNA EXPLOIT IT OR TRY TO! ALL I CAN SAY IS #THANKGODFORPROJECTMOTORRACING I am literally counting down the days on the calendar! All this Scapes BS and Cafe people BS and yet the MOST BASIC CORE FUNDAMENTAL ISSUES ARENT ADDRESSED BUT OH YEAH HERE IS ANOTHER TRASH HYBRID OR VGT! Where did you lose the Substance of what GT7 use to be? WAKE UP!

So the Penalty System has Most definitely been affected by the Most Recent Update!!!! Last Race I watched 4 People get Punted off the Track Spinning slam a wall and 2x the person that hit the wall was penalized and the person that punted in all scenarios was never penalized! Smdh

I have noticed pp values changing across the board many times. I have no idea why but maybe it has to do with changes to the game physics.

PD is adjusting PP all the time. I don't think it has any tie to game physics changes that are much less frequent.
 
Hi, I posted the below message in the weekly race discussion... but most probably, considering my doubt, it is bettere to report here too.

At Suzuka, during the 4th lap, it was raining but during the 5th lap I noticed along the last straight "something white and shining" along the side track between the grass... and I thought it seems hail...

Then I checked the replay and part of the rain on my windscreen it was really HAIL !!!
Never happened to me before in any race where it was raining.

Did you experienced hail in the past in other races or it is something new from the last update?

And did you happen to take a screenshot or recording of this miraculous never seen before occurrence?

I wouldn't be surprised if PD implemented this with a very low rate. I remember having snow on the Nürbürgring at night on GT6.
It only hapenned once on a private lobby with a friend, but we saw what we saw both. Back in the days the outside temperature was displayed, it showed 4°C when this happened. So nothing was illogical here or seemed buggy.

What color did the weather radar display? I never went under a purple patch, even with torrential rain in a custom race.

The radar was light green... the quantity of rain was like showers here and there...
But the white shining effect along the track between the grass was unbelievable... very nice...

I'll have to try driving in these extreme conditions more often to see if anything like this happens. It looks interesting.
