Pasting this from another thread I posted it in:

I did notice that the vibration when you crash into another car on PS5 feels more detailed and direct almost, like it’s more of a buzz rumble than a classic DualShock rumble. I can’t remember exactly what it felt like before, but it feels like it’s different now. I like it.

A button that sends you direct to the weekly challenges races is in main map screen, upper left corner.

Talking about the Pro and PSSR:
While there are still some tiny issues with flickering and aliasing, I think overall the game looks better with the 1.65 patch.
Motion blur for me looks also a little bit more intense.

It does look consistently sharper on the RT mode now, yeah.
agreed I am on ps5 pro with a tv at 60hz no vrr and I am running resolution mode with PSSR off and it running a lot smoother also in the replay retracing looks even better,

Also online lobbies are also a lot more stable and I feel that the resolution does not drop anymore like you used to

Anyone on PS4 noticed a difference in frame rates and smoothness? Some people have said there's a FPS decrease, I can't say for certain but it does look different somehow. If anything I'd say it looks smoother, but in an artificial way.

FPS is the same. I think people are saying it is deceased because on Yas Marina with 16 or more cars the track lags into the lower 40s, but rest of game is the same.

And I too did notice the artificial look you call it. Edges look slighlty smoother like FXAA or something and lighting seems different in the garage. Somehow tiny bit darker, but maybe it is just my TV settings? Though I never changed them.

Noticed that the audible note of the tires when traction is broken is more refined, and in my headphones I can hear the corner/side losing grip. Maybe was here all along, but noticed this immediately.
I noticed something was different but thought it was my mind playing tricks. I guess not!

A bunch of trees were changed and one was added in the main menu, most prominent around the Tuning Shop icon

they're growing!

1 - The "Parameters" option in the UI (or however it is named after english) now only shows a gear icon :

Before, both were written (here in custom races mode). It's to make room for the Data Logger when it's available.

2 - I did the test because I was unsure about that, but I can confirm that the UI now tells if you are laps ahead or behind other cars :

Very useful during endurance races.

3 - The font which shows whether you are ahead or behind your best lap time has changed for Time Trials :

Also the scorebug / race standings was moved up a little bit, I recall it used to sit towards the middle before the update, and now it sits more towards the top of the screen

And when a position change occurs, the UI does a swapping animation, instead of just switching texts

It's still broken though...
It already shows you as 1 lap ahead if you're in the same sector as the other driver, but haven't passed them yet. So at that point it flip flops between showing time difference and a +1 lap difference whenever either of you passes the sector line.
Absolutely astonishing that something as basic as a time difference display has now been broken since the betas of GT Sport, almost 9 years ago.

Am I tripping but are the graphics kinda “milky” now? Idk a better way yo describe it.
Wouldn’t say milky. I’m playing on ps5 pro. Not sure if there is really a difference. For me motion blur on the sides with fast cars is different and stronger than before.
Still PSSR issues with tiny lines and aliasing but I think overall it’s a bit better than before.
Need to try out the PSSR disabled setting and VR later today.
Hopefully the game will be updated with the new PSSR iteration that’s coming next year. High hopes for that.

You can now choose the rendering quality (at least on ps4) in scapes. Wasn't there before, was it?
Think that’s there for a long time if not even since release.

Yes its motion blur but you can tell its not intentional. During the Audi TT menu book movie the wheels on the red TT blurred so much it looked damn near like a solid wheel.
