Yes it has been. I've noticed it before during night races there. You can see the green/red lights on it floating around

I have not played since this update was announced, but i actually think the resolution looks worse? I tried my monitor at 60 fps with pssr RT and my lg c4 120hz pssr prioritizing RT, maybe the iq has never been great and im just noticing it now more for some reason. Especially around trees.

I think some of the songs that were only available during replay now can be heard on races too.
Just heard glowl by daiki kasho in a race, and I'm 99% sure that was a replay only song.

And now, in Spec III, we can finally disable Daiki's music. This didn't work before. And I say finally because I couldn't get into any of the GT3 music.

I think they're very noisy (and mind you, I'm into Extreme Metal) and the change in style to GT4 was a blessing.

I swear I tried to like them - because I'm a big fan of Daiki Kasho - but I couldn't. And now with Spec III I'm finally free of them.

Just for information, the comfort tyres are the new Dunlop Sport Maxx RS, just launched in Japan, and the sport tyres are the Dunlop Sport Maxx GT 600 DSST CTT NR1 OEM specific for the Nissan GTR Nismo 2016/2017.

(This version doesn’t have the small vertical sipes on the outer shoulder. And this tyre has been replaced recently by a new version with less tread pattern).

I've noticed that when using VRR on base PS5 some tracks (RBR, Laguna) are not that smooth. It's hard to explain, but panning the camera has some sort of choppiness. Weirdly it occurs only in time trial.

Corvette Cx Concept did not have a overtake button, did it? Well it sure has now. I kinda liked it more before the update. It's slow af without boosting the overtake now..

In addition to the documented additional layout at the Nurburgring, the Dottinger straight at the Nordschleife has had a small modelling update - there are now two sets of starting light gantries, and there are now grid boxes painted on the tarmac (pointing in the reverse direction).

Doing the 6 Hour Suzuka race you can see the time now in the top left of the screen. You can also save your race progress!

I did at least 7 laps.. well at least for the Suzuka 6 hour… I did one lap and it didn’t work at first… went back and did 8 laps and it start me on lap 7… with a rolling start it’s like a safety car reset. I quit GT7 app while pause.. reopened GT7 up… went to the 6 hour race and it asked me if I wanted resume.

For those that mentioned tire sounds have changed, I think you are right. Slip sounds are nicer and warns you about grip level. It makes a nice part of the driving experience.

The default camera position for Body 1 and Other in the livery editor of the Roadster 12R was slightly offset to the car's right. This issue has now been fixed in v1.65, and the default camera positions are now properly centred.

I'm happy to report that the default camera positioning for the 12R in the livery editor is now properly centred.

However, the roll cage still does not change appearance even when painted.

During Free Practice in an online lobby, each participant's fastest time is now displayed beside the drivers' names in the position board. Also, when spectating and during overtakes, the position board now has an animation of swapping places, instead of instantly changing.

So do we agree that they drastoically improved the quality rt mode and pssr on ps5 pro? I feel it is so much sharper then before.

I assume you have to put your PS5 onto rest mode and not full shutdown?
