I am comparing these two videos posted t the forum. One is a few posts above, the other is from the time trial thread.

Unfortunately, they are different perspectives (roof cam vs first person) but there's still differences.

The tire wall now has wrap on the tires.

Going through the video side by side and there lots of detail differences. I saw too many to list. Maybe it's just me, but this has changed.

I turned all of that off. PSSR is an upscaler anyway. You game resolution is decreased for better frame rate, and then upscaled. I turned off the ray tracing instead (because I find the difference to be negligible) and maintain high frame rate with high resolution.


As for undocumented changes, I didn't see any mention of Nurb 24 being updated, but I did the new Hyundai time trial and I will DIE ON THIS HILL that Nurb 24 has been reworked. The corners are not the same, the track is a little wider, the general accuracy has been increased.

I first noticed it at T1 and T2. The barriers used to be blue, and now they are white. As you progress through the GP track, every corner is slightly different. It's more flowing. The Nordschleife is differs slightly in a variety of corners.

I've lapped that track more than any other in this game since it's introduction, and this update has changed that track!

Easiest way is to spot the difference in track graffiti...

You're comparing it to GT Sport, not 7.
You want to look at something like this, in which it is all the same.

The last update, 1.66, added Sarah's newbie-advice crawl to... everything. Originally it only appeared (I think) at the beginning of each path.

Now that's been reverted.

I dunno man. Maybe my brain hasn't noticed the changes from Gt Sport to GT7 until now, but the moment I got into that Hyundai for the time trial, everything looked different.

Tbh, I have been running the WTC800 at the ring both pre and post 1.67 and it is different, cannot prove it, cannot put a finger on what is different, it just is....it does feel smoother in ways and the kerbs are not as harsh but most of all I hadn't noticed it much I until someone mentioned it....

I really dont see any diference in the track, also, when PD reworks a track they usually add new adboards, for example in nurbugring they should have added the black BMW M Motorsport logos in the first straight, etc. We still have the 2010s BMW logos.

Possible glitch from update in Showcase.

Whenever I go into the following section when its on all things show up, but when I got to select specific areas like Styles, Replays and Decals its coming up blank.

Got video because I'm hopeless at explaining things.

Funny, because I also had a feeling something had changed with the Nürburgring. But I have no idea what it might be – if anything at all. My best guess is that it's just a placebo effect.

Really? That's good news (I've been on a trip so haven't checked out the update yet).

not completely but I do believe it's a bit more stable/readable. Let me know your findings

Ya, exactly. I've tried to explain it but it's just different all around. Like turn 11 on the GP track seems more open on exit and maybe a little more banked.

Schewedenkruez, that fast left after the hill, which follows the fast bit after Flugplatz, is now most definitely a blind entry whereas in the past, you could see the apex as you approached it.

Then again, I remember it being Berenstein, not Barenstain...so...

The update is way too small to contain a reworked Nordschleife.
