Hey guys... I'm new to the forums, but not GT3, or any game in the GT series for that matter. On to my question. What car did you guys beat the GT All Stars race in the Professional League with? I can't seem to beat this particular championship with the 1,000+ hp cars I own. That list is: Escudo, Skyline GTS-R, Lotus Esprit, Viper, and the GT-One Road Car. I've only used the GT-One because it handles better than any of the others I've listed, IMO. But I can never catch the blasted GT-One Race Car or R390 Race Car, one of those two is always in that championship  ... So, once again, what'd you fellas use? Thanks in advance.

Hey Tach welcome to GTP!!! These are great forums and I am sure you will find the help you need. You wont find it from me though. Sorry. I am not a GT3 expert although many members here are. Hope you find out soon. :)

Hey welcome Tach to the forums. :D

Anyways I used the GT-One Race Car the first time i did it. The second time I used the R390 LM Race Car.

Thanks guys, viper_maniac, in which races did you win the GT-One Race car? Only one I know of is the All Star championship?

that Enduro is the longest, by far... arm yourself with SuperSlick tires and some patience... you'll likely get tired of Tokyo after this one!

welcome, BTW!

I live for GT3 almost none of my friends can even compete with me on any track. I've played and beaten the first 2 now I'm working on GT3. Any questions come ask me.

use ur gt1 road car, it should work if you maxed it out...besure you've boughten everything and installed everything possible on that. And use medium tires.....or less, but dont go near super softs.

I tried using that car it just plain sucked trying to compete in that championship. I'm glad i got my GT-One Race car. 😈

I used GT-One Race Car fully done up, adjusted appropriately for each track, I lapped the cars every race! Which I think is quite hard to do

Welcome to the forums. I'm not sure if it'll work, but have you tried putting a full racing transmission in your GT-One Road Car and adjusting for each track? That might make a huge difference.

Anyway, I think I used an S2000 LM for this series, but I might have just went for the 787B, if it's the one where the Le Mans cars get a lot tougher. Anyway, I don't think you need something with over 1,000HP to wn this series. The only car I have over that mark is the Escudo, and I hardly ever use it. But everyone has a different style.

There's also a prize list at the top of this forum, you might want to check it out if you're wondering where you can get certain cars.

I used a 1000bhp Castrol Mugen Honda Nsx with the hardest tyres avaliable. I used those tyres because sooner or later, they had to pit in, but I didn't :D

Thanks to all of those who replied.
Sertsa - I have a full racing tranny, and I adjust for each race.
TVRKing - I too only use the hard tires.
Still going to go the the Tokyo endurance race and just get the GT-One Race Car instead, had planned on doing so earlier, but never got around to it. Anyways, thanks again.

The 787B is a great car for those 2 monster race cars. Add that spice to the mix, it is lethal. I believe I used the 787B the first go 'round, but an F1 car the second time to get the GT40 Race Car. 😈

I didn't even change tires on the 787B, now to think about it.... :o

Good luck!!!

...and welcome to the forums... :burnout:

That Tokyo endurance sure is a beast of a race. I did it in a 787B, and it took 2hr 30m, which is a helluva long time. Especially since I did it in one sitting!

why not do the super speedway endurance with ur escudo and get the f1. that should get u the championship pretty easily, but some people almost consider that cheating...

It probably wouldn't be a good idea to do the Tokyo endurance race for the GT-One Race Car, seeing as how thats the longest endurance race and you could end up not even winning the car. If you are willing to exhibit the patience that that race takes, then you'd be better off acquiring a 787B from the Like the Wind Race. All it is is one race at the Test Course for 20 laps. Any car of yours that can do over 240 should be able to win.

I have to object to that statement.

When I raced there, my RX-7 doing 240 mph was only good for a second place finish. Even without pitting, I could not catch first place. I used a Viper GTS to win that race. I had to do at least 265 mph to win that race. Maybe your experience wasn't like mine with Like The Wind..... :burnout:

CK: I'm assuming the GT-1 or R390 was first place, wasn't it? ;)

gigo: That might work, but the problem is that some of the cars (namely the R390) will never pit, so I'm not sure if you can gain a big enough lead to counter the F1's need for pitting (usually lap 6-8).

Really? I figured that any car doing over 240 would be able to win, since thats the speed the GT-One Race Car does. I know, the Viper goes 270+, but it pits like every 3 laps, so whenever I did that race the GT-One would always finish higher.

I know this is an old thread and hope DA notices.
I have been reading your Compendium for hints and saw where you had used the Zonda Race car for the Pro. Gran Turismo All Stars. I loved the car but could not harness it! I hate to admit it but yes I copied your settings listed and with a ever so sliight modification after the first run, had a blast. I also ran the entire series stock with the test track being the only exception. Just couldn't find the power to gear ratio to pass the slow pack and get them off my air and attack the 787B. So I was force to go for the stage 1. I would recommend the Zonda to anyone that wants to have a competitive run and with a good pit stategy and skill take home the prize.
So Hats Off Der Alta, and thanks.

You're welcome.

That was a fun race in the 787b, and knowing that I have the day off next Monday, my last GT3 hurrah could be that race. Or, another run at the PD cup, or a full dayof Trial Mtn. 2 hour runs.

It's nice to know that you confirmed the Pagani could do it.

No, my hats off to you.
