Holy moly, do I feel slow. “Track Stars” in the Pro League, BAC Monos (and Radical SR3s that could not keep up, sorry to report, Vet) at Bathurst. Oohwee, Sophy dusted me! I was able to steal a split-second win with a superior (read: not braindead) pit strategy, but color me nervous for the next two!

…though, I think I get to face Reggy at Big Willow (no slouch!) for one of them, thankfully :P

Anyone else making progress?

Great pic! Did you have the Radicals at the default PP of the Bac Mono? Tyre wise they are at a disadvantage but I found the Mono to be understeery when I've driven it, and I would've figured that the Radical at the same PP as the Mono would be competitive.

I actually forgot that Sophy was at Bathurst lol. Much needed because Reggy is slow coming down into the esses.

Nice work with the strategy and I hope you score well in the following races!

Humorously, it was Big Willow Reg’ that gave me the toughest time! Won the first two (Interlagos easiest / still tough) and dropped to sixth in the third, partially due to a mistake in my rabbit-tending that saw a 10-lap, 5 sec gap closed in two corners when the pace car pit and passed me the lead. Spooked, I put a tire in the dirt and dropped about 10 seconds. I did have the Radicals cranked up but they couldn’t keep up / additionally have smaller fuel tanks that exacerbated the difference over 20 fuel-multiplied laps.

Now I am struggling on Six’s Mirror. :dopey:Thought the DB11 I cruised to easy British Championship victory with would be enough. 2 Reggy-run lambos (Murciélago and SH-default-tire Aventador) are lightning quick, and I’m chasing a Ferrari F12berlinetta and McLaren F1 for the final podium spot. Probably going to drop some funds on the widebody, I’m just too low-traction to make up any ground on the AI. Wonderfully frustrating! Dropped from pole to sixth at Nurb GP (with obvious player advantages at Schumacher S and fast right-hander turn12), scraped back two positions at RBR in a bit of rain, and then dropped the same two at Tsukuba. Thankful for my season-accumulated points cushion!

Pretty cool to have the Pro League end in sight, too! It’s been a long time comin’!

(Funny that I keep missing the ‘68 Charger - would prefer to buy 7 or 14 for the livery and tune diversity!)

This game desperately needs the ability to share custom races. The cynic in me wonders if that will eat into Power Pack sales. :indiff:

I doubt that. Most people didnt buy PP purely because of some more special races but more for qualification in events, Sophy 3.0, extra cars, prize money etc

The DB11 did NOT work out for me :P Came 2nd in the British Supercar Championship and then got whooped in Six’s Mirror! I ended up keeping Reggy behind the wheel for all of these…too frustrating to work around Sophy’s circuit/car limitations sometimes, and clearly I don’t need a ‘faster’ opponent!

Don’t throw poo at me - I did have a passing thought today that maybe PD’s/Reggy AI is superior. Instead of ‘trained’ lines, equally-powered Reggy exhibits realistic intelligence, tucking into my slipstream as I attempt to evade, dodging and switching back beneath my greedy divebomb, spinning out while battling me/itself…then again, maybe I was in a good mood because I finally nabbed a podium

I may add the last two races in a later edit

I’ve ended up ignoring the suggested ECU nerf in favor of just making every grid as fair of a challenge as I can, usually by downtuning my BHP by 10% in prerace and always setting a rabbit in front with weak boost. These cars and characters are fast! I hate seeing Hlengiwe Mahlangu in my mirrors! :mischievous:

I did notice a potential issue, within the above concept of fair challenge, with the upcoming Royal Blood event, which uses homologation specials tuned to 700pp on SS tires. As all (listed) eligible cars use SH tires as a default, they can’t hit 700 unless they run RH tires. Furthermore, most of the “Make Model Gr.3 Road Car” cars can’t equip enough tuning parts to hit 700, even with RH tires. I’ve engine swapped several of them to muscle up to the limit, but it might be easiest for written progression to drop the limit to 670ish on RH tires (I did this in my spreadsheet template, though I’ll be at 700, personally), or maybe lower using SH.

…also, totally get it if this is a relic at this point, haha.

Excited to dust off my trusty Mustang (Trustang?) for the NA Masters 2 series! My most used car, so far. Here’s a progression shot:

I almost broke even on the Aston…

Thanks again for creating this wonderful experience!

It's been a minute since I jumped into Integrale, I've been working on other projects. I still have a bit left to do, but once that's done I'll get the last two events in the Beginner League finished by hopefully next month.

Speaking of the Beginner League, I made custom logos for the events with help from ChatGPT:

I made different versions of Turbo Twirl to fit with the different stages (Green for Low, Yellow for Mid and Red for High)

Hi, sorry for bothering but I have a question. I tried doing a WEC campaign (Gr.1) in accordance to the document. The document says to let BOP take care of making the cars equal, but for some reason BOP is unavailable for Ferrari VGT in game, is this a recent change unreflected in the document?

The Ferrari isn't classed as a Gr. 1, so it wouldn't be auto-balanced with the rest.

So best thing to do is just down tune every endurance car (including the Ferrari VGT) to a similar PP?
This is an oversight on my part, my apologies. You can enter it without BoP but you will get field spread and for as long as the hybrid energy lasts, the Ferrari VGT is quicker than other Gr.1 cars.

Otherwise yes you will need to manually tune the opponent cars or omit the VGT from the grid. I’ll update the documents and find a replacement team if possible in the event that a player wants to use BoP and not use the Ferrari.

Alternatively though, if you wanted the Ferrari or wanted it on the grid, you could heavily downtune the VGT more to maybe 90-93% ECU so that it’s more in line with the McLaren VGT if that appears in your field (did a quick test at 96% ECU at Le Mans and I was still quicker albeit than the McLarens but not a ton when the hybrid ran out).

Thanks a lot for the reply! I'll try tinkering with the downtune

Just added an alternate team to the document if you want to substitute the Ferrari VGT. You'll need to re-copy the document for the changes to appear, or you can make the changes yourself, if you want, they aren't large so it's not super time consuming.

The changes:

Genesis Magma Racing (AF Corse Alternate)

Car: Genesis X Gran Racer VGT Concept
  • P. Derani (BRA)
  • M. Jaminet (FRA)
  • D. Juncadella (ESP)
  • Empty Slot
  • M. Jaubert (FRA) - If empty slot is not taken

---

I also changed the name of the Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo on the teams list to Ferrari VGT for consistency with how it's displayed in-game.

A small update has been made to the Professional League Classic and Hybrid documents.

The Track Stars event has been changed to a one-make event, depending on which car you choose (BAC Mono '16 or Radical SR3 SL '13)

This was done because a tuned Radical can't keep up when at the same PP as the BAC Mono.

I took learnings from a post-release evaluation of Integrale I did, and recently, with things like the Track Stars needing specific testing that I didn't do (thanks to @pritchyTim for mentioning the lack of competitiveness from the Radicals).

You can't always rely on the PP limit for a competitive race when pitting different cars against each other. I didn't consider it as being a possible issue when I was putting it together, but I should have run the race to test.

To clarify - the prospect of testing so many races was not enjoyable so if I was sure it would be okay in terms of playability, I left it.

Every mission was tested to be completable and I knew the regular races would be fine because they can't really go wrong (unless you have specified cars facing off at a given PP limit).

Given it's free and it's primarily me working on it, I hope it's acceptable. I can honestly say that I tested everything I thought I needed testing to ensure it was completable or competitive (in the competitive case, under the assumption that cars at the same PP limit would be close enough).

Some stuff needed more testing as I now know, and I take it as a learning. In this case I thought it would be competitive with the cars at the same PP limit and treated it as a regular race.

Please let me know if any regular events with PP limits and specified cars have balance issues. If it's a considerable number I will do a balance pass on everything that has an issue, but I will put the balance pass in a separate document so you don't have to re-copy existing documents.

Dude, zero sweat! thanks for your commitment to upkeep.

At the end of the day, it’s Custom Race, and we’re individually in charge of the experience. I like to tune to the PP level and enjoy rolling the dice on which ones end up faster/slower. I also don’t roguelike myself if I get whooped, with the long-term points system I use.

I also tend to reuse the AI cars that end up pound-for-pound faster in later series, to create a thicker sense of progression as I near the end of a league. Slower AI get new ones, and only the fittest survive! (watch out for those Lambo road cars)

It only took a year, but I finally finished the Beginner League. I made lightly tuned cars for Turbo Twirl, which was actually fun. My videos will be uploaded this week.

Can't wait for the license events.
Glad you enjoyed it! Looking forward to the videos, best of luck going into the licences and other leagues!

I made a small update to the spreadsheets to add an alternate YouTube Music link for the soundtracks. These can't be played while in-game, at least not at the time of writing, but if you wanted to listen to the soundtracks on a separate platform to Spotify, here are the links (they work on regular YouTube also):

Menu Music Playlist

Race Music Playlist

Sector Survival Playlist

It’s a cumbersome workaround, and no clue how it might (not) behave in VR, but it is possible to launch youtube.com from a PS message, then pin this secret browser to the side while you game. Audio balance is respected, like with the Spotify app. Pretty brutal on the peripheral vision, though.

I forgot about that! Not ideal like you say because of the real estate it takes up, but it's a workaround. Hopefully they implement YouTube music into the console like Spotify and Apple Music eventually. Not holding my breath for it though unfortunately, if it hasn't been added by now, but hey, here's hoping one day.

The Shuffle League documents have been updated to support the cars in GT7 update 1.70.

Along with a thanks to @Famine for allowing me to use the GT7 Master Car List, which I used at the time I initially made this wheel, a thanks to @Milouse with KudosPrime and the GT7 car list, for their new entries when the game is updated. Since you can sort by date added, it's quick to see every new car.

I didn't think many people would be waiting on the wheels, so I put it off for a day until I felt more up to it (not that it's hard, sometimes I just don't feel in the mood to do a specific thing). But still, I didn't wanna wait too long.

This is fantastic, thank you for the permission! I tip my hat to your dedication! Not sure if you knew btw, but High Speed Ring Full Course (not reverse) can use Sophy now. In the track data sheet, it doesn't have a Y for Sophy.

Also, I just updated the track shuffle wheel. I forgot to add the Spec 3 tracks to the list at the time - my apologies to all. You'll want to re-copy the shuffle league document/s to get the newest version. They've been marked as "Ver. 2" in the title of the document.
