What is the best car to use in the beginner section? I have Gold on the other 2, just what best to use?

Yeah its around that, I did try using my Swift (first car) but it didnt do very well

To actually answer the guy's question, the AI opponents are "hot-hatch"/sport compact level cars - I had a MINI Cooper S '05, a Honda Civic Type-R '08 and a Toyota Celica SS-II '97. They're very cautious on the brakes, so you don't even need to match their stats to beat them. I used a lightly-tuned Mazda Atenza Concept, since I happened to have it in my garage at the time.

And the limit is 245hp.

Just had a look through my vast collection of cars and see that I can use my Elise 111R Race Modded. It comes out at 238bhp so will do fine.

Then you should have waited and not posted (or indeed double-posted). He needs an answer, not an answer of when he'll get an answer.

You've been told twice before about your responsibilities under the AUP.

It has worked fine on the dirt, managed -11 seconds on the final result. Now for the Snow

i used a
Focus st - for the beginner
Evo 3 - for the middle one
Celica st185 rally car - for the expert ( you can only use a rally car for the expert)

Lotus RM is kind of cheating on the tarmac section

On dirt/gravel/snow, you might want to use a 4x4 car if you have a suitable one, or FWD if you dont.

Ford Focus ST is great fo the job IMHO, but it can be done in any similarl FWD car.

I used Honda integra Type R, if I remember correctly it was all stock.. It was really great and had a lot more grip than you'd expect on snow

I went vintage - The OLD Lancer rally car is very, very light and super fast. I did some part swapping to get the power number to about 230. For tarmac, the Ginetta is about 500 kg and s-m-o-k-e-s everything by 5-7 seconds per race. You can actually put dirt and ICE TIRES on the Ginetta if you are crazy enough.

I've bought a Focus RS just for the job, and it was brilliant, won it easily with no tuning at all.
The problem is, you'll win one after you finish (gold) the challenge. I wish I've read the prize list before.

I used a Honda Civic slightly modified and did not have a problem.

I used the Peagot 206 Turbo (4wd) for this as I wanted something that could look like a real rally car.
havent done the rest yet so thatll be an experience.

I used a 80 Renault 5 Turbo, upgrade to 240 hp, it handles well and fast
