Times will be posted soon.
Just because you're not posting "bump" doesn't mean they're not bump posts.

All you need to do is to edit your first post when you wish to add a contestant to the list. Stop making useless posts n order to keep your thread at the top.

It depends. Some Day of, some day before. I'll let everyone know way before hand when we have enough people.

Are you wanting to join?

One car for all races yes. Production cars only, what I meant by "Normal" is Production.

Also, Acedition, you in?

The rules are a bit open to interpretation, I'd like to make a suggestion if I may...
iHealy (Runs Silvia Championship) has some very comprehensive, explicit rules that could be be a great model. Maybe pick his brain, or use his regs as a template?

Now, if i'm jumping the gun and you've got your system all worked out, then by all means, apologies.

Open session today?

I created a room just for series practice, GoBlue Road Series. Figured lapping with your comp gives you perspective. Hope to see you and anyone else who gets on.

If someone agrees with me tell me right now I think the tire restrictions should be unrestricted, I don't care if they're sports or not but sport tires make alot of good cars bad. Am I right?

Not bad, but performing at levels below their potential, absolutely. Put sport tires on a Super GT car and it'll still drive stupid fast, but not as fast or as smoothly as with racing tires. Put slicks on a RUF and it still shakes its ass like a RUF.

Think about it... Normal road cars don't have Racing Tires on... Look at the name. It's Common Sense that I would'nt let you have Racing Tires, if I'm keeping the cars to NORMAL ROAD CARS.

Tire Restriction will NOT change.

But just think I've heard about this and i've seen people with on-board cameras and they head to a race track with THEIR car and some people do put racing tires on their cars to make them more grippy and so they don't spin out in some cars. Just think about that.

I agree with you Futurestar58....

We ARE racing in a "Closed Coarse". So there for we can race what ever tires we desire. It is a race that we are doing, correct?? Put on your best tires and go race. I don't get why people bash the racing slicks. We ALL can afford to buy them (unlimited use). They say its not the proper way to race "for real" with street cars. People want to keep it as real as they can get. But I don't think spinning out and crashin into a wall at 100mph or even 65mph, that you would be able to continue racing with the pack if it were "REAL". You'd be behind the wall/waiting for the next race. It's just a game have fun!

BUT it is the host who is in control of series and can present it in his/her way. which you must respect.

My opinion he/she should prepare a racing series a lil bit better than this setup. Left out many details on How its Being run.:dopey:

1.) Im a He.
2.) Only restrictions are Normal Car, 550 PP and Sports Tires.
3.) No matter what, Sports tires aint changin.

*NOTE* Qualifications for race one will start Once we get 1 more person. All Races/Qualifications will be in my lounge.

I would like to do this, but you need to let us know times, dates, time zone you are in, etc. I can only do races certain times, so I'd like to know when they will be before I can say for sure if I'll be doing this.

This looks interesting, I will be checking back to see what time/day you choose before I apply.
Sports tyres are the best idea IMO, racing slicks are too much grip on a road car and nobody would do a track day on regular tyres. Also set out the driving assists you will be allowing so people know what to test with.
It would also be an idea to ban certain road cars as they will destroy the opposition.
Good luck with your series (and stick to your guns on the tyres)

I think it should be anything 550pp or less, street car, no downforce from the factory, and no more than 550pp stock. It wouldn't be fair for someone to take a 600pp car and just de-tune it. It'd work well if we could agree on what a streetcar is, I define it as a mass-produced car that is stree legal from a non-tuner, aka "normal" manufacturer.

^ True, but also seeing the cars would help as well because GT5 isn't always equal in PP setups.

Why don't we just set up a hp/weight limit? It will be much easier if we could use close to stock weight road cars, then the choices would be a little narrowed down, and there will always be another season.
