To be honest Driveclub was supposed to be THIS, but Sony didn't see the potential I guess.

Wouldn't fit together in my opinion. But as Forza Horizon gets bought a lot i could see Sony forcing some casual open world racer. If that comes from PD it would maybe drive away many casuals as they often see GT as some hardcore sim without funfactor. Plus Kaz' perfectionism doesn't go down well with a huge open world i guess.
