👍 PD!

I don't know if this reliable information :dunce:

I've done some searching as well, here, but it only showed the sales for GT4. I wanted to see the sales for the entire GT series ;)

I heard it was one of the - if not the most sold game in Norway. Weird how the GT-series is one of the games everyone likes, wheter it's arcade people or simulation people.

I'm supprised GT2 sold less than GT1, GT4's sales wil still be rising they'll probably peak out around the 9 or 10 million mark.

I'm not, really. GT1 was genious. GT2 was not. Even GT3 felt more like Gran Turismo than GT2. GT2 was, how can I say it not to insult myself (for buying, playing and loving the GT series) - close to awful. Sorry, but it's true. There were a lot of cars, but bigger isn't always better. GT3 had under the half of what GT2 had, and I played GT3 for two years - every day. GT2 just had something dark about it. Something not-nice, not Polyphony Digital, and it lacked the positive "Let's do it"-feeling from GT1. Neither was it original, the graphics were bad (worse than the first, if I recall correctly), and the system with max power in the races were boring..
Gran Turismo is about slamming and bumping (read: Slam a TVR Cerbera the hardest you can around a track). GT2 didn't feel that way..

That GT4 number was the total at the end of SONY's sales year, if I remember right. It has to be a year old number. Too bad there isn't an easy to find source of good sales figures.

Cheers,
