I literally have one in my driveway (an affordable one) and the entire reason I got it is because the next version is going to be electric. At that point, the used prices of these things will go through the roof.

Porsche is going to lose their ass on the electric Boxster, guaranteed.
I meant the exclusive ones, not the run of the mill ones.

Bumper cam HUD has been reorganized to place all of the assists along the bottom of the dials, allowing for a larger MFD (I think - the assist icons definitely got moved).

This is a screenshot from April (ignore the white arrow). The assist icons haven't moved.

As a person who drives bumper cam exclusively and had a bad habit of resting my finger on the brake trigger...I can confidently say its always been that way.

I suspect the menu navigation sounds have changed ever so slightly, because I keep thinking something sounds different. They’re still the same sounds, but the decay or sustain parametres feel different to me.

It seems the physics have changed, I have been practicing for the AMG VC and on Tuesday the car felt understeery going into corners, but last night it felt like it did after the major physics update either 1.49 or 1.50 (whichever one it was).

Now trail braking is back to smooth suspension movement and no more understeer, the car feels great again.

Not sure if they have adjusted all suspension geometry again or whether a few cars have been adjusted

I second the opinion that there's a physics revision. I of course can't back this up with hard proof or numbers, but I very recently drove the 1989 Mazda Roadster for Car of the Week before the patch, and it was undrivable. After 1.54, hints of the odd suspension compression oddities still remain, but the car is a lot more enjoyable and managable to drive.

I'm on a regular PS5 on a T300RS.

I might have missed it before, but I dont remember the UCD saying `sold out`on cars that are, well, sold out.If its old then I appologise, just never noticed it. 👍

It's a Porsche, people will be begging them to buy one. We are not their customer base or target audience.
Well as far as the Mission X itself, it was revealed as a concept in 2023 to try and gauge customers interest and apparently only a third of potential customers showed any interest in it and rumors are that it has been cancelled or Porsche will wait till the end of year to make an announcement as to if it will be going into production.

Shmee 150 explains it in his video here:

The fully hybrid Porsche Taycan hasn't been a great sales success either and depreciation on them is extremely high.

So it appears not a large amount of rich or even super rich potential customers are interested in buying fully electric cars, even from a manufacturer as venerable as Porsche.

Yeah. It should have been like the 918 with improvements and what not. People want that famous Porsche sound. In game I don’t enjoy electric much because I find they don’t pull up as well as internal combustion engines because there’s no gears and engine braking to help. It’s silly to go all electric for hyper cars it should be hybrids a bit of both or full internal combustion engine. All my option of cause 😅

Power is power and CVT drive trains are good at what they do.

GT does a little disrespect to the EVs and hyper car hybrids. Theoretically the model s and model 3 based on real world stats should be some of the best cars in the game 🤷‍♂️

Have they added smoke effects in the spectator areas around the Nordschleife?

I noticed it mainly around the lowest point of the circuit around halfway around the circuit near Adenau and also near YouTube corner.

Not having seen this effect before. I actually thought an AI car had come off the road such was the amount of smoke across the track.

Already in the game mate.

I think there has been a subtle physics change. I've been doing the new limited time Group C race and I am struggling to drive the Porsche 962C without spinning out. Previously it was the easiest driving of all Group C cars (to me). Just one data point, and from me so take it with a grain of salt.

I have a 991 GT3 RS I use specifically for the Nurburgring and the update has made it understeer on entry and oversteer like mad midcorner. I think they're still tweaking the physics after 1.49 and it's not getting any better

Very glad to see the Honda Civic (EG) colors, I was actually asking about it before this update! Now all I need is to get a spare S2000 and and potentially a spare K24, and then I'll see how it looks in Tahitian Green Pearl...

Did they fix the bug that lets you zoom in through the cars? In photomode you used to be able to stand next to the car and zoom through doors/glass to get a close view of the interiors but I cant seem to do that anymore. That suuucks, PD! We should be able to get flycam view of inside the car too, theres so much detail we never get to look at.

I did that back in GT5, didn't know it was an issue with 7 as well!

Had anyone noticed an issue with the Nissan GT-R '17? I changed nothing on my settings but either they are all jacked up or the car is screwed up. It was never the best handler but this thing is crazy now. Take it out and rock the steering wheel back and forth slightly, it almost catches air under the tires going back and forth and is very unstable. I have noticed it since 1.54.

Maybe I haven't driven enough races at Autodrome Lago Maggiore GP/Full... but wasn't the driving line and AI path down the hill towards the bowl hairpin always all the way to the left?

From what I remember since July, it appears so. If I had access to the game, I have plenty of replays I could go through to confirm.

I do believe that PD fixed the phantom pit wall at Daytona Road Course, I have not hit it and I cut that first turn close... can someone else be brave and confirm?

The Alfa Guilia GTAm in the Nur 600 pp race has been detuned. It used to be ridiculously fast on the final straight, but now reaches a more reasonable 325 km/h.
This may have changed with an earlier update, but today was he first time I noticed.
