Also,

Polyphony Digital has also been involved in real life automotive projects. They have developed special versions of their Gran Turismo games for many car manufacturers as demonstrators for their cars. Nissan also commissioned them to design a special bodykit for their 350Z coupe...

More recently, they were contracted to design the multifunction display on the new Nissan GT-R, which displays performance information such as G-forces, acceleration opening, brake pedal pressure, steering angle, an "optimal gearshift map," to emphasize economical vehicle operation.

When Nissan was looking for a company to develop the GT-R's user-friendly 'multi-function meter', the car maker says Polyphony was the obvious choice because of the simple menu systems applied to video games such as Gran Turismo.

It’s true that GT Sport hasn’t sold as well as some previous titles but gaming these days are much less about sales and more about ARPU.

Even Call of Duty, the sales leader for many years, doesn’t look at sales with the same importance as in the past.

I think GT Sport sold good,it wasn't a bomb but it wasn't the major sucess GT once was(but simracing is way smaller nowadays for everyone).

The days of Gran Turismo selling 15 million are gone(sadly).

I suddenly remembered about the first GT by Citroen super car. PD was even involved in the design department of that model during one point.

Famine:
...I wouldn't give most GT Sport players a fishing licence.

I was drinking coffee while read. That quote caught me burst laughing at same time. Couldnt control the coffee. Had to clean up my keyboard, desk and wall. That quote is genius and well put. Love it!!
