Gran Turismo World Championship Challenge Race, can you win?

Hello and welcome to the Gran Turismo World Championship challenge.
The idea of this challenge is to see if you can win a race in the GTWC, now
this may sound easy but there are some rules to go with this challenge. Here are the rules.

Only road cars can be used(road, tuner, concept)

All tires are allowed

Wings and NOS are allowed

All drivetrains are allowed

With that said any and all tuning is allowed, because you will be racing
high-end LM race cars, Also there are no rules against you from using the
walls, cars, grass and any other way to win. And you can do the qualifier
as well so you can start in first place. Here is how I would like you to enter
your time's, which can be by posting here or PMing them to me.

Car/Time/Pit Strategy/Name/Track

Now I would like times from only races that were won because thats the idea.
With that said I will make a list for each race so that we can see how
well people are do in each race. Here are the list's.

Race10-Circuit de la Sarthe 1


Now to show what a time should look like, east has given me
a time to use as an example. Heres the time.

Mercedes SLR McLaren - 16'49.944 - RM/12 RS/19 - East - Seoul Central

First is the car, next is the time, next it's showing that he used RM's, then it
shows that he pit on lap 12. Then it shows he changed to RS tires and went
to lap 19 or to the finish of the race.Next is his name, and last the track.

I would like it if you give a replay or a picture to show that you got the time
you did because these races are so hard some people might not beleave you.

Just a lil info on my race with the SLR at Seoul. Car was fully tuned, including NOS. Started from 6th position on Racing Medium tyres, fought my way to 2nd position after a couple laps, kept with and followed the Sauber Mercedes Race Car until we both pitted on lap 12, he had a 4 second lead on me. I changed to Racing Soft tyres which gave me the advantage and allowed me to catch and pass the Sauber on lap 18, I crossed the finish line only 1 second ahead of him at the end.

Now I will try to win some of the other races with the SLR and I will also see if I can win any races with some other cars aswell

I think i'm going to try the Dodge Viper GTS-R and see how well I do.

Ok I found a race that I could win, here is how I won.
I started in 6th place with my Dodge Viper GTSR concept, on NOS on RH tires at El Capitan. It took less than one
lap to get in first, and the main car I was racing was the Minolta. I was also racing the R92CP
and the R89C. I staid in first by about .5 to 2 sec's for most of the race untill I had to pit.
On lap 7 I went in the pits to change my tires to RM's because I can just plan out run the other
cars, but when I was changing my tires those 3 cars pass me. When I got going again I
knew I would have to push a little to get in first, but lucky for me they pit the next lap.
The end I staid in first but I did really bad because I got so excited that I was going to win
that I messed up alot. And I only beat the Minolta by .191 sec's.
I have the replay but it's to big to upload here so if anyone wants to see it just ask and I
will email it to you. And I will keep working on getting more times.

Great job Angel 👍 I tried a few different cars at Suzuka, like the Saleen and Mazda RX7 and others (all starting from 6th) but have had no luck so far, I did try a Fully Tuned Nissan Skyline, started from 6th and managed to fight my way into 1st after a couple laps, the problem was tyre wear for me was terrible, I had to pit on lap 2 on Mediums. Maybe its time to give Qualifying a try I will try again this weekend, for now its off to work I go.

That is soo cool, I was thinking of using the Nissan R390 as well.
Now I will have give it a try, and it's no surprise that he couldn't win at
Super Speedway. I had a hard time winning that with a race car.

Ok, I got another one

Honda NSX Type-R - 23'41.892 - RM/6 RM/12 RM/18 - East - Opera Paris Reverse

Car was Fully Tuned, including NOS and a Wing. Started from Pole Position ahead of the Nissan R89C, the Nissan R92CP and the Toyota Minolta, with the CLK GTR and the Vertigo bringing up the rear. Started on Racing Mediums (which I stayed on for the entire race) and managed to pull out an 8 second lead over the two Nissans by my first stop on lap 6, and resumed the lead by around 5 seconds when they made their first stops on lap 8. Pulled a further 5 seconds ahead to have a 10 second lead over them by my second stop on lap 12. Once they made their second stop (the R89C on lap 16 and the R92CP on lap 17) I had about a 5 second lead on them and got the NSX home to win the race by 5 seconds over the Nissan R92CP with the R89C a further 5 seconds back and the rest of the cars were Still Running

Fastest lap was a 1'15.9xx

Nice race:tup:, I will add the time to the leader board. I wonder why on one else has tried this.

Could you get the year for your car, it's no big deal but it would be nice to have.
