*shoots 2350cr back to BH*

A lil more will be coming, but I need to hold back 50cr for an oil change. Three seconds off is not bad at all... :)

Buick upgrades:
24,300 before upgrades
10,250 on racing hard tires, on the camaro they were 10,500, I guess there cheaper for the buick. :D
14,050 left.

At SSR5 on my 3rd try I slammed into the wall in the tunnel after the first straight. Paid Flynn 4,000 for the parts to fix my car and 5,000 for the labor lol.

Total before crash 14,050
Cost of repairs at "Flynn, Big bird, and lil jon's Automotive YEEEEEAAAHH'S" 9,000
After repairs I have 5,050

Also added 200 in ballast weight to the middle of my car before I raced

Slight problem AndersonG22, you don't have a Camero in this league. You are racing a Buick Special '62. This now puts the times you submitted in limbo as, until we find out what car you ran them with. Nor can I do any financial stuff for you till this is sorted out.

Nevermind, I jumped to the word camero and it messed me all up. Though I wish you were clearer about the loan to Flynn.

Um...I now have an extra 9kcr...confirm?!?!

Let me be clear: I don't request loans above 3kcr. I didn't request anything beyond 450cr for Class E. If anyone in Class E objects to my newfound funds, I will simply reject them. Fair?

Ugh. Long day at work. I have until tomorrow to post my Special Stage Rt. 5 times, right? I'll be up at 7am to watch the start of the English Premier League Football season, so I race while that's on. Right now I think I've earned a

!

My dilemma is this: Do I spend on a power upgrade now, or suck up a couple of slower races and wait for the prizemoney to push me towards a better set of tyres? Decisions, decisions. Maybe Guinness has the answer. I'm going to find out... :D

Well, I was looking forward to this. But when I went to turn on my PS2 and look for a car, it said my game save was corrupt. So, having no money or cars, or anything, I'm going to have to start all over again. So much for 700 cars and a lot of tunes and things. See you all when I get motivated to redo GT4. I can no longer particpate, but I will continue to run the league for everyone else.

Bummer. Don't you have another memory card to back up to?
Do you have a gameshark or MAXDrive or know someone that does? You could easily download a new gamesave with one of those. Sure it's not your own work, but it'll get you back to having all the cars & stuff.
If not I'd be willing to put a completed gamesave with all cars unlocked on a memory card for you if you want to mail it to me, and I'll send it straight back. PM me if you're interested. 👍

When you get stuff given to you free (PS2, and mem card), hmmm, no. I never got another one. I haven't even been playing this game a year yet and I've had two corrupted saves on this memory card I have since I got the PS2 as a gift.

Thanks Smallhorses, Flynn has volunteered to hook me up. We are only a hundred miles apart so it should be realtively easy and fast.

So I submitted my SSR5 time without any more modifications, though given that I couldn't touch Car-Less at Suzuka West, and Flynn77's Cougar was breathing right down my neck, I'm figuring SSR5 might be difficult to predict, but I think I need to save for tyres as a first investment.

My Guinnesses (Guinni?) answers weren't really forthcoming last night, and I only have a hangover to show for it!

An NA Stage 2 kit would make a great power boost, but I fear without the installation of a full-custom tranny too, it'd be fruitless, allowing me only to hit the rev limiter in 5th gear without making me all that much quicker! SSR5 highlighted the shortcomings of the stock SM tyres and resulted in hideous understeer in places. :ouch:

How long do we have to wait for fabmaru?
I'm waiting on the results from SSR5 before I know what upgrade I can afford before I race the next track.
Does one user get to use up all of the 2-day padding in the first round?

Well, its Korza too, but if everyone submitted the other two tracks then not long at all. They would get DNFs and we would move to the next race week. The second track due times are by thursday, which puts the third by monday with the two days padding expiring on next wedensday.

It is odd though, how people with less then 3 cars in this are the slowest to do one track and usually do all three in a clump.

The padding isn't necessarily associated with the four day due dates.

Sorry but I think don't have time to do that today. Tomorrow I will do them for all tracks. And is there a way I can temporarily withdraw from Class F. I take to much time to do a clean lap with the Cobra. :indiff: and that way I could come back when I have time.

Yeah, just submit DNF on the form anytime you want to skip a track, and the rest of us don't sit around waiting for you.

By 'eck that were close, but precisely what I feared would happen with Flynn77's Cougar edging me by 7/10ths and meaning I lost out on 800Cr of prizemoney! This means that the RH tyre purchase has to go on hold for another race. Trial Mountain though. One of my all time favourite tracks from GT series, and one of my test tracks for preparation & car comparison for the SFGTP events that I ran. :trouble:

Fiat: oil change - 50cr
Marcos: oil change - 50cr
Mazda: oil change - 50cr
Cougar: R2 tires - 10250cr, oil change - 50cr
427 S/C: full LSD - 6600cr, oil change - 50cr

The finances still say that I owe 150 Cr. Can you fix this please BH-21.

Ok, given I'm nowhere near Car-Less and won't be until I get some more power and now that Flynn77 has some more sticky rubber, I'm going to have to risk blowing some cash to keep up or be left behind.
An NA Tuning: Stage 1 would give more HP for only slightly more than a Racing Exhaust, however, the exhaust will be a cumulative upgrade if I can afford an NA Tuning: Stage 2 kit later on, whereas the initial NA Tuning: Stage 1 would then become 4900Cr worth of useless bits & pieces!

So then...
Dome Zero '78 has had:
Exhaust & Air Filter : Racing, 4800Cr
and a diet! :p
Weight Reduction: Stage 1, 1200Cr
Starting budget: 9250Cr
Remaining budget: 3250Cr
before the Trial Mountain and Fuji '80s races. Times to come shortly (by PM of course!)
