Graphical bug?

I've been fighting the graphics card in my main computer for a while, but I'm not sure what to do about this, or what is causing it:

What is actually happening in the game:

What is causing these random graphical transparencies? And why doesn't Fraps pick them up? Another odd thing is that 1nsane works fine on my other (partitioned off) hard drive.

could be drivers or a heat thing

Okay, I installed the newest drivers from nVidia's website, and it did nothing. I uninstalled them and reinstalled them again, and still nothing.


Edit: Never mind. I fixed it. I switched back to the older drivers for my specific graphics card.
