It's 10.5" and the card in there now, the MSI 8800GT in there now is just about 10" long. It's a dual slot as well so I shouldn't run into any issues. I'll probably pick up one of those connectors just in case and then return it if I don't need it. I'd rather have to much stuff then not enough.

I'm hoping to go tomorrow to get the card.

The games are using more vram but in SLI/Xfire it still only uses the ram that is on each card,so if you have a 512mb cards you will still only have 512mb.

You contradict yourself here. Either you will "still only have 512mb" by not using both the cards' RAM, or it will use the RAM that is on each card totalling 1024mb.

Nope. Not how it works. If you have one card with 512 memory and another with 1 gb then each card will use up to 512 memory. It uses the lowest common denominator. Adding the 2 rams together doesn't give you 1gb. Sorry

OK- but you're still saying each card will use up to 512mb of memory. Are both being utilized—or just one? If both are being utilized, then for all intents and purposes, that is 1gb of VRAM. Whether it's accessible or not, neither of you have clarified.

Got the GTX 260 today from MicroCenter. I was originally going to get the EVGA one but the BFG one was overclocked, was $20 cheaper and came with an additional $20 rebate. I couldn't pass that up.

I'm still up in the air about a monitor, a buddy of mine just got the Samsung LED one and it looks awesome. I'm so tempted to get that.

I'm guessing you have to register it to get that lifetime warranty, so that wouldn't be a bad idea if you haven't done it already.

Those Samsung's will not disappoint you, Joey. Gaming in full HD is your only option, don't settle for anything less.
