Great tuners tune alike

So I'm in a room with kt and mazdaman and we had no previous knowledge of each others tunes and while an ACR, we told each other our tunes. All 3 of us had the same flip, and gear ratios were within 4 to 8 clicks away from each other. suspension also 1 click apart from each of us. I just thought it was cool that 3 guys with no knowledge of the others tunes were that close. lol.

edit: mazda tree me on the track, but i got first post after op.

A lot of good tuners have already "maxed out" these cars and probably tested quite a few settings.

A good tuner would also easily find flaws in his tune and change it accordingly.

Thats why I like running fast tuners, that way you know where is room for improvement.

If not... just the battle of who trees better lol

When you think about it more, you probably all got the same tuning techniques trickled down to you from the same originating person, thus ending up in you all following the same pattern you learnt off someone else and ending up with a similar result. Thats the difference between someone who learnt by making a tune and someone who learnt by copying a tune. Pretty cool hey!

All of us, except maybe KT, are first gen drag tuners. We figured it all out by ourselves with no help from anyone...I've been doing this since GT4 and GT5 tunes a LOT different than GT4 did.

No copied tunes here buddy I've learned a lot from everyone here slash mich dom rj mafia mad max hyper jth and the list goes on. The moral to my point is we all learned from one anothers expierence which is why we know what and what not to do. With that being said due to new patches lots of times get squashed because they make. Us slower But from our learning expierence we make improvements and learn new discoveries. With that being said how about you post your self taught times and lefts see how good you are. I bet it wouldn't even make top 10.

I love when ppl judge others by their own acts.

Funny cause I was talking a while back to one Honda tuner and we were both pretty much even the whole and he ask how do I tune or setup my gears and when I explain the process he was like that's exactly how I do it, long story short we now help each other in the FF world.
 
Alright, but I'll only be on for about an hour or so. I'll be back on later tonight though.
