Greetings from Finland, land of ice and snow (at this time of year).
This is my first post to GTPlanet forums, just to say hi, and to see how this thing works.
Over the years I have played GT1, GT2 and GT3. I skipped GT4 because I sold my PS2 and went totally PC for several years, playing games like Rally Trophy, Richard Burns Rally, GT Legends, RFactor, LFS... When GT5Prologue came to stores I bought PS3 and started my long wait for GT5.
Looking at my racing game history, its probably no surprise that I play with steering wheel Logitech G25 at the moment. I bought my first wheel back in mid-nineties for some PC F1 simulator (forgot the name) and all my previous four wheels have worn out due to heavy use
After all these years of off- and online racing I consider myself as technically good, but speed wise average Sunday racer. But Im not just racing game fan - my gaming history dates back to Commodore 64, and when Im not behind the wheel, I play games like GTA, Civilization, Battlefield etc. My total gaming time is nowadays limited by family life, but every now and then when kids go sleeping, daddy goes racing...
I found GTPlanet while searching for news of GT5 about a year ago. I have kept coming back to GTPlanet also after GT5 arrived, so I finally decided to register just in case if not else, then to show my support for this great community.
Thanks to this community I have started enjoying things that I previously overlooked in GT5, like drifting and photography. So far I have played GT5 only offline - perhaps next thing that I take a look on this community is online racing forum.
