Grid GT Championship: Interest/ Sign up(Closed due to low interest)

Welcome to the Inaugaral Grid GT Championship, the first series ever on GTP to primerily use Grid.

Grid GT Championship Schedule:​

Season Begins March 21st​

1. Jarama
2. Istanbul Park (Grand Circuit)
3. Nurburgring (Grand Prix Circuit)
4. Spa-Francorchamps (Sports car Circuit)
5. Donington Park (Grand prix Circuit)
6. Circuit De La Sarthe

Here are the rules in effect for this series:

Honorable Driving Conduct​

1. Be mindful of everyone on track. If you hit someone and take position, please slow down and give it back to them. If you are in the process of being overtaken for position, give the person doing the passing plenty of room

2. No Short cutting the tracks. Any positions gained must be given back immediately or you will not be scored

3. If you are about to be lapped, you are required to give the faster cars as much room as possible and let them through

4. No rough driving of any kind will be tolarated. Do it and it'll result in automatic deduction in points. Repeated offences will resort in suspension from the rest of the season.

The Championships​

Since the game used for this championship is a multi-platformer, it will be divided into three platform-based divisions:

PSN: For players on Playtation 3

XBL: For players on Xbox 360

PC: For players on PC

All of the races will be done in Private rooms and will have a password PMed to each participant. And with in each division will have two classes, GT1 and GT2 and within those classes will are the Drivers championships, Team Championships and Manufacterers championships. Races will be held on saturdays at 7:00 GMT, though that could change depending on scheduling of other leagues which are going on at this time.

Points Payout​

Points for the drivers championship will be in this form:

1st. 20
2nd. 18
3rd. 16
4th. 14
5th. 12
6th. 10
7th. 8
8th. 6
9th. 4
10th. 2

Points for Manufacterer and team championships will depend solely on Driver finishes for their points.

Well, thats a situation I didn't think about. I guess whichever one you are comfortable with as I'd rather not make a choice that is yours.

Yeah, I'm considering doing that. I would have thought prehaps Spring Break was a perfect oppertunity to get some people, but apparently not alot of people are interested. I'm gonna put the first race on hold for at least a month and if there is still no interest, I'm just shutting it down.

Well apparently, no one else wants to compete at all so I'm shutting this thing down. Also because apparently not alot of people seem to even like racing on Grid, I will not be putting up anymore sign/up threads for any series on that game. Sorry to those who did sign up, but apparently there are too many sim freaks out there and not enough people who simply want to just race.
