So, I'm 3000+ miles short at this point for the needed completion (autobarmy). I'm thinking its not very likely that I will get this grinded by tomorrow's patch, but I did want to check...is there any way to reasonably quickly grind this out??

If so, please mention the track and how, but from what I've experimented with, any sort of 'rubberband' method will NOT work in 'test drive' mode, as every time you hit the wall, it gives the message that the lap will not count. I read this worked before, but I'm assuming it was 'adjusted' this last patch, because it does not work now. Is there any other 'way'?

At this point, I'm just leaning towards knocking out as many miles as possible running like the wind-indy and getting money since I could use that as well if I'm working on mileage anyway.

Ultimately, I'm trying to get this completed prior to patch specifically because I'd like to get platinum before the patch adds a ton of additional trophy requirements. It'd be nice to get at least ONE platinum on a game I've played. If I cant get it done before tomorrow, I will just likely not log in for a few days till I can get it done.

Again, just curious if anyone has suggestions.....

You're making a pretty big assumption that the next patch will add trophies. The last two didn't, so I think that more being added is unlikely.

But just do Like the Wind SSRX. You'll get more miles/minute with that than with Indy, plus more credits. So just do that, it's easier and doesn't require too much of your attention.

Even if the lap time doesn't count, the mileage still counts.

Crap!!! Thats the one thing I forgot to check. Any sort of recommended track to do this on? I tried the ss X one thats 12 + miles, but the car flips on the banked turns.

Thanks for clearing the other part up!!

Your absolutely correct....I was just assuming it would add some. It very possibly wont, but I was just thinking it would since it adds the vettle stuff.

I hope your right.

Just drive around SSRX. And what do you mean your car flips? Don't complicate yourself. Just get the Veyron and put the ECU chip on it. It's more than enough to beat the other cars.

I was using the vettle car with racing hards. I'll switch to a veyron and see how that goes.

Thanks.

I think he means it flips when he lays a brick on the gas pedal in test drive and goes to bed.

Don't worry about additional trophies. Getting the platinum often doesn't count DLC trophy requirements, just the original ones from launch.

Drive everything everywhere, that'll get your miles up.

lol no, I mean that as the car goes from the guardrail on the left side into the turn, it rides up the side of the banked corner, and hits it hard enough to flip the car. I just switched to the veyron and it does the same thing....not sure what I'm doing wrong....I do not have the controller set to pulling hard to the left to hold it on the guardrail, just slightly. should I have it a lot more?

Was there some news about a patch coming out tomorrow? is there a list of changes that patch includes?

Just keep in mind that cars no longer accumulate miles in GT6's arcade mode. You have to drive in either career mode or online events to gain mileage.

And if you don't want your cars being smashed and flipped at Route X, then you should probably slow down before going into the corners.

The rubber band bricked pedal trick does not work at SSX, all cars will flip the same or get the nose stuck on the guardrail, Daytona is the one to do as it gives faster lap times than Indy.

there is a patch supposedly being released tomorrow if you believe the vettel 'red bull x2014 standard championship' tab where, when you click on it, it says : 'Coming soon! This event begins on January 1st, 2014'.

I have no knowledge if it is true, nor if so, what else might or might not be involved.

You need 2 rubberbands for the DS3 analog sticks. All the way up for throttle stick with one rubberband and up and about 2 millimetres away to the left(barely left of vertical) on the left analog stick with the other rubberband. took me 8 hours to get 2337 miles on SSX; only needed 2020; trophy will not pop until after you exit test run.

EDIT: With RedBull Vettel X2014 on Racing Softs. 280 MPH on straights and 210-220 on banks. Bank closer to start/finish was faster than first bank by a couple miles per hour. average 4:23.xxx per lap.

Even if they add bonus content with trophies; you just need to get the base game trophies for platinum. You just won't have 100% completion trophy-wise anymore.

I won't bother grinding for it, it will come one day regardless of what you do if you keep playing regularly. But if you are I recommend getting a 300mph+ car that can take the "corner" at route x at a good speed like the red bull x2011 or huayra and just keep that throttle wide open on that track. You could make or join an online room on the track so you can race and have more fun.

A tune for the Veyron where you can take the banked turns at almost full speed.
Take the ride height, at both front and rear to max (145mm).
then add Camber both front and rear, 2.5.
Front toe to +0.40 and rear to +0.10
I didnt need to touch the spring rates and dampers, but you can make them softer if you want.
This setting allowed me to take both turns faster, without crashing to the barrier.

You'll need to slow down to at least 300km/h in the Veyron during the turns and keep a steady speed, then just floor it on the straight. You don't need to go as fast as you can. You will still win by a huge margin since the car is way faster that the rest on the straights.

I've been grinding that rce with a stock Veyron (only with the sports ECU chip), Sport Soft Tires and winning all the time. It's an easy win.

Test lap miles are added to your total. Maybe that was added in 1.02 but any testing you do does count towards the mileage total.

First of all, are "additional trophy requirements" confirmed for the upcoming GT6 patch?
I wish, but unlikely, never seen updates add trophies to any game, only DLC trophies were added to games via updates.

We can still hope though!

As for the trophy advice, grind Special Stage Route X in a very fast car, 10-12 laps should give you about 1,000 KM

My advice, the trophy is digital meaningless, useless except for bragging rights...
...spend your time online or offline having fun (whatever works for you)...
...running more than just one car/track, that way when you do get it...
...you will have learned stuff about the cars and tracks you can use.

Just drive all the cars you have at the nurburgring until you memorize the track, much more fun that way

The 24-minute Nurburgring will cough up $600,000 every three laps. $1,200,000 per hour, while racking up the miles.

I've completed GT6 last weekend and noticed I had just gone over halfway of the Autobahn trophy.

Doing the full game again (other cars this time) would give me the trophy.
I'm not gonna grind hours to get the trophy, I just play the game (again)

Have you been reading my mind or do we have a telepathic link?

Seriously though, I am in the same position...I have completed just over half the Autobahn trophy, everything else completed as of yesterday and was planning to go back to the beginning and do the career with different cars (lower PPs etc)...would complete the Autobahn and would give me nice credits. Am also planning on learning to use the manual transmission
