Thanks for the link, it makes interesting reading. The max power went up and down considerably in those three years, due to development and official handicapping, while the minimum weight started at 1260kg and was increased a number of times.
 
np mate :) its surpriseing when you think about it,back then those skylines were 4 seconds!! a lap faster round bathurst than the commies! and only around 5/6 slower than the current V8's! was good racing back then :)

off topic but do you by any chance have a model of brockies old xu-1 ? :p

did talk to a couple of members about doing a small group a championship,but i just couldnt find away to make the r32's slow enough without dropping alot of power to make it fair!

Now you know how CAMS felt. :)

What about a poinstcore that is weighted in favour of smaller capacity cars?

eg. If you win the race in an over 4000cc car you get 20 points, but 25 points if you win in a 2500cc car or 30 points in a 1600cc car.
