My email address is confirmed though but it keeps telling me this, over and over and over. 🤬 🤬 🤬 and more 🤬
 
Sony claims to have fixed this issue as of this morning, so try again if you haven't recently. I was having the same problem last night. What fixed it for me was to check my score on the leaderboard, then it let me do the third event. If you haven't gotten into any events then I'm unsure whether or not you can even view the leaderboard.
