I just quickly pulled myself away from gran turismo 4 to express how utterly amazing it is!!!....................i am truely in love with gt4 and i havent even raced on the nurb yet, Photo mode is like some kind of lens based crack cocaine đź‘Ť i cant stop using it, really is the feature that has suprised me most so far. i bought a 1990 rx7 i love the sound! I LOVE EVERYTHING! the handling, graphics, sounds,music are all top notch and i have only been playing for an hour

i gotta get back to it, so far its much much better than gt3

I read your thread at 5PM, immediately shut-down my PC at work and jumped into my car.
5 minutes before closing time I arrived at the game-story, luckily they still had 4 copies.

I started playing at 11PM, when my wife and daughter had gone to bed.
Had to stop around 2.30AM because I also have to stare at PC-screens at work.

I finished B-license with all 16 gold, so I had 3 cars in my garage !
Then won the Sunday Cup, which gave me my fourth car.

It can't be 11PM again quickly enough for me ...

These are things that only (married) fathers can understand . . . Sometimes you have to wait until you can do the things you like to do. There is no use in getting angry -> it's just like that. The older you get, the more phylosofical you can look at things. Over the years I've learned not to get mad about things that aren't important enough.
Gt4 is important, but not enough to endanger relationships !
 
Been playing for a few hours now. It's really really good tbh, hardly amazing, but theres loads to do. The races can still be abit boring though :(.
 
I ordered from GAME but no-one was here to sign so now i have to cycle to the royal mail depo :indiff:

Ah well i'm looking forward to the free keyring and sticker i get with it.. can't wait đź’ˇ
 
hehe, i were supposed to post this about 8 hours ago but got stucked on gt4... :D

yeah, got my copy today.. i got a call from my friends dad who works on a game shop near by our house and told that he had dropped my copy of gt4 in our mail box :) guess what i did ;) :D rushed home from school saying i had some things to do :p Damn this game is so great... but now back to gt4 :) đź‘Ť

i have to say that gt4 surpasses whatever expectations i had by the millions! doing the first lap round the ring in the 300SL was absolutely astonishing! they finally got the sounds for the chargers, gt350s and vettes right and the handling is jst simply real life driving! musics top! the feeling of speed is unparalleled by anything else, the sound just does it! replays especially the photo function awesome! there is just so much to still find out about the game it literally made time stand still! i knew i was goin to love it but this game...IS IT! and we got it!

I 'VE GOT MINE TOO ... but I have to wait 'till my dad comes home from work with it, cuz he bought it near his store ... and he stays away soooo long, he has to drop by his father first :( he should be here any minute ...

to fight the borendom I'm playing gt3aspec now :d I hope you can get faster fast cars, cuz with gt3 it lasts forever to get a good car...can someone confirm this?

I bought mine as well today. Sucks that I don't have my own tv, now I gotta wait for my parents go to sleep before I can play it. Did watch the intro and created my save game, but that's all I saw of it so far. :(
 
I have it and can't play it yet, that's even worse. By the time I get to play it I bit all my nails off already. I feel like a crack addict tied to a chair with a kilo brick of cocain in front of him.

Decided to start this game from scratch and didn't transfer anything from gt3. First car I bought was a Nissan SILVIA K's (S13) 1991. I think it was a fine choice after a bit of a tune up and oil change : )
Sold the Lupo from the licence test and used the credits to tune up my Silvia. After the races in the sunday cup and FR challenge I tuned it up a bit more and won the Japanese 90's challenge... now I've got a kick-ass NISMO 400R : )

This game is so good, especially with a DFP wheel. Oh yeah, I ordered the game from gameplay and to my surprise it arrived on Tuesday. Been playing it non stop... my eyes, they BURN!!
