Specifics are not important. All you have to do is take completely stock car. Change the chassis, the body, and the engine to whatever you want. You can make the tires what ever you want, as well. You just have to keep all the other parts stock. Stock suspension, stock brakes, etc. You can take those stock parts from any stock car, in the game.

For example:

Ford GT40 Polophony Digital Special
I started with a Mustang Cobra R

Brakes: TVR Speed 12
Brake Controller: none
Chassis: GT40
Engine: GT40
Drivetrain: GT40
Transmission: GT40 (normal; non race)
Suspension: GT40 (normal; non race)
LSD: none
Tires: any
Weight Reduction : none
Body & Downforce: GT40
Polish, balance, etc.: none

This is just an example, you can do all sorts of combos. You can also edit many of the specs of the car, in the *.ini file. Just as long as the parts are kept stock, you can edit the values. Also, to have a real advantage over the computer, use line 440 or the power multiplier. The computer does not recognize this as a "modification". ;)

Actually, I'm not totally sure it's possible to substitute out modified parts which are fitted as standard for other stock parts from other vehicles, and be allowed admission to PD Cup/Trial Mountain Enduro. I could be wrong, but I recall trying it with a Tommy kaira ZZII (and YES, I changed the car type to "Road", and checked it was ineligible for Formula GT).

I'll work on it for a bit, just to see if I can get the GT-40 eligable, and yet keep it as close to the real thing as possible.

If I do get it to work, I'll post my final product, here.

BTW what prevents the GT40 from entering the polyphony digital cup.

THX.

Polyphony digital cup uses stock cars only (no mods at all and no racecars either). Both GT40s come fully modified and can't be made unmoded. BTW, what's with the pic of the Audi?it's off-topic and way too big to be a sig (even if it were allowed here; which it's not).

The only problem with the GT40 is the body, since it is rear DF adjustable you will not be able to use the body in the PD cup, no matter what else you use. I have researched this plenty. it is possible that you could use the engine and other parts from the car, but as soon as you put that shell on any frame with any parts it is disqualified.

Adjustable rear DF isn't a problem; after all, you can use the Ruf RGT in PD Cup. It may be that the GT40 body is specifically forbidden.

The problem with ZZII isn't the car type. Think about what it comes with always. Race suspension, race tranny, full custom LSD... There really is no "stock" ZZII.

I've tried a few different combinations and it didn't seem to work. It has to do with the body. All the parts, except the chassis and body were changed to different cars that are aloud in the PD cup, and it still didn't work.
That Audi is cool. I recognize it as the Audi TT LM Edition, from Gran Turismo 2.

Really? I recognise it as a Photoshop-job. The wheels are a dead giveaway.

The Ford GT40 Road car cannot enter the PD cup as it has a semi-racing muffler fitted as standard, which you cannot remove.

Several rear-adjustable DF cars CAN enter the PD Cup - such as the TS020 Road Car, Ruf RGT and Celica GT-Four.

Back to that gt40 it won't work i tried over and over again different combinations and it is in fact probably because no gt40s were actually sold to the general public and if they were it would have been so limited it wouldn't have mattered.

alright. what is your basic knowledge on cars? there were both race and road version. and next year they will rerelease the gt-40 one last time. and no its not a kitcar. GAIN BASIC KNOWLEDGE!

:odd: Well either way it probably wouldn't be fair to have one in there anyway who knows why the gt-one road is allowed, if you ask anyone who knows tell us who. Chaos is right and there weren't many gt40s sold, thats what i was trying to say.:) Oh, one more thing the few other cars which only sold a small number of cars that are allowed, I have no idea. Wait, Wait, Wait, the gt40 is the only one of the rear downforce adjustable cars to have a marking on it(notice it says gt40 at the bottom).
