GT academy gtr already in all games

Well I saw in another thread that after completing a clean lap in the event and going back to the main menu you receive a gift ticket , if this is true it means that the gtr is already in everyone's game unlike for example chrome line and stealth cars that required a download on psn.
I'm not sure if you download the car or just a key to unlock it but it is a different method maybe it was already on the disc or it came on the last update like the gold chrome , so maybe people in other countries can get the car with a 1000 ticket or a year ticket , what do you think ?

I want that car :(

The preorder cars definitely seemed like I just downloaded a key, not a whole model. Is the Academy GTR supposed to be new? I thought people had one some from tickets already. It looks like it's the prize for Gold on the S-License. Is it a different GTR?
 
Perhaps the car came with the latest update only in certain regions. The car may not have been in the North American update, but possibly could have been on the Europe update?

I have it. Haven't got around to driving it yet as I'm taking advantage of the double XP in Black Ops atm, but it looks like a Stealth GTR SpecV. Its awesome!

all you need to do is be a participant in gt academy for eu.. enter the track then quit automatically which i done due to button setup was wropng lol.. and i was given the car.. im doing the academy on an unused gtp account and try to send my main account the car.. it cannot be sent so it is in all aspects EU only.

Yes it is a different model , it has the livery of the die cast model GTR.

If that GTR was based off the US Collector's Edition model and exists ingame.
I wonder if the SLS, that came with the Signature Edition, will be available ingame sometime later too.
