As some of you know it's the UK Nationals on Tuesday / Wednesday. I have been lucky enough to have been offered a guest spot by Maz (Synwraith). As alot of you like to be kept updated through these events I have created a Twitter account to post updates during the day. I have never used it before so it could go wrong and I'm not sure what 3G coverage / WiFi I will get from my iPhone :lol:

Anyway, if you want to follow the events and updates throughout the day here is my Twitter account...

I will post pictures and text during the day and hopefully take another camera for some decent video to upload when I'm home. I've been told you can ask questions and comment on my Twitter posts so any questions feel free to ask!!

In the Ireland finals, there were access restrictions put on guests. So maybe videos/pics of the races won't be possible?

Won't be down on Tuesday. I've got to attend something until late Tuesday night so won't be home till 9 - 10pm. Travelling down early Wednesday morning so will meet you guys on the shuttle bus :cheers:

It's a shame you won't get to be there for the Tuesday night festivities, but at least I don't have to worry about whether or not you're a chronic snorer :lol:

Tokyo R246 also.

Looking closely at the new builds of these circuits, much of Fuji's braking markers have disappeared off the sides of the circuit :indiff:

Just a reminder that a lot of us are mighty interested in the event setup/admin screens. Bigger/better pics of this + any info you can blag about it will be much appreciated 👍

I have been a member on here for some time now, I read it a bit but generally don't post. I finished 18th this time (qualified 12th in the previous GT Academy) and am looking forward to wednesday, although with some nerves after reading about the other finals!

Anyway, I'm not very good with names especially as we all have two names effectively but I look forward to meeting you all tomorrow and I truely hope I don't take any of you out in the races! See you in the Bar.

Something like this comes to mind - believe me when I tell you it was hard finding a pic of a Playmobile figure that actually looks like Jack but I think I did pretty well. :lol:

My journey to Brands Hatch begins at around 12 30 today.:)

wow, cant leave till about 5 my brother is working all day, then ill be bombing it down in my little 1.2 haha!

I'm heading down to Brands, too, and have had it confirmed that Lucas is doing passenger laps in the 350Z he raced last year for the media guests that are going down there. I wouldn't assume anything, but I think it would only be fair that the contestants get a ride as well!

I'm taking a camera so will try and post as many pictures as possible.

Yes, it was confirmed in our paperwork that we as contestants would also be receiving a lap around Brand's Hatch from a special guest driver 👍
