That is one FAST car going by the speeds it is doing.

Especially 212km/h on that part of Eiger reverse, also note the car is in "D".

the incar view doesn't looks very playable because of this huge windscreen frame !

mmm, it looks sweet!
Do we say it's definitely gonna be in the update?!

Sony UK's website says

"Motoring enthusiasts can even take it for spin when the virtual model, which drives and handles exactly like its real-life counterpart, becomes available for download in Gran Turismo 5 Prologue."

So I would imagine so.

I've merged the two threads containing pics of the new GT by Citroën concept car, to keep everything in one place 👍

Reminds me of a Stormtrooper helmet, even the mouth is a Citroen logo shape.

Before you fanboys flip your wigs, there was even a 2007 Dodge Avenger Stormtrooper actually based on one at Sema. Not as good as this Citroen though.

What an ugly car. Looks like something out of a really bad arcade racing game.

Wow-never thought of that before.

Wonder if there was something to do with this?

Here are the best pics I found:

I want specs - that car has to have at least 450HP to do 300 km/h at the High Speed Ring as seen in those screenshots. Me Like. :dopey:

I posted some pics in the GT5P Paris Autoshow link above.

Personally, I think it really is an amazing car - quite radically different, you know? Besides looking like a stormtrooper's helmet, it really is a new idea in car design, not just a rehash of someone else's ideas. Good for them!

However, every time I see one of these single-car or single-make GT demos, I remember what Kazunori said before the GT4 release. He listed all the manufacturer demos that they had done in the 2 years before GT4 came out, and he said that it really cut in to the development time of GT4 a lot.

I wonder how many total man-work-days it took for PD to design and create the car and the demo for Citroen... That time doesn't come free you know. In the end, that equals a push elsewhere in timelines for other updates and for a final GT5.:grumpy:
