GT Legends is now available on Steam. This will be my 4th copy, but it is one of my favorite games of all time and I have no problem paying the $11.99 Steam is asking.

or as an alternative!!

All owners of existing Simbin titles have to do is obtain the multiplayer lobby code that came with their title. In Steam head over to Games > Activate a product on Steam and follow the prompt until you`re asked to enter a code.
Now, simply enter the multiplayer lobby code without the dashes and the title will be added to Steam, meaning you can now play without having to worry about the old discs.

Well I just bought the simbin mega bundle on steam and I'm not having good luck getting my Fanatec 6-speed shifter to work with GT Legends. Everything else works great just not the shifter. I know there are some great brains on here so thought I might see if someone has an answer.

What's the problem exactly, TJ? Is it that it won't go into neutral? I had that with my G27 and in searching for the answer I found this:

Sounds like you have to (I'm assuming you're using the shifter through a Fanatec wheel, I know nothing about Fanatec gear so I don't know if the shifter is standalone or not) disable the Fanatec driver and use PS3 mode with the Logitech driver instead. Even then you may find that not all buttons work, in which case you have to use the Logitech profiler to give the buttons keyboard assignments and then map those in GT Legends. My G27, for example, can't use the lower four buttons on the wheel itself nor the buttons which would be square, X and O on a PS3 controller (if you know what I mean).

Also you have to edit the .PLR file for your user to change the 'hold button for gear' thing from 0 to 1 (instructions in the link above) to make it go into neutral when your shifter is, otherwise it holds the last gear you had selected which means you'll stall if you stop without using the clutch.

Hope that helps.

If I try and just assign the shifter its gears it will only do 1-4 I think and not reverse either. I'll try that suggestion and see if it works. Thanks man.

Bump.. I've been playing GT Legends recently, great fun once you figure out how to drive it properly, I was wondering what kinds of mods are available for it, both tracks and cars.. I've looked around and all I found was a few on No Grip.com..

I've been looking around as well. Got the game on Steam during the summer sale, but told myself I'd wait to get tracks/cars until I finished the career mode. All I've seen is the stuff on NoGrip and the list of things on Virtualr.net in their download category, which is also most of what is available on NoGrip.

Might even be worth checking out F1Classic forum to see if there's anything there.

You should definitely get Targa Florio. It's 44km's long so you might have to plan ahead a bit, but the track's an absolute blast. I never tried it with AI though. You could also try Virtua_LM's tracks (Le Mans, Mid-Ohio...) - those guys make some really high-quality circuits. But other than that I'm not sure what else since I'm focusing on GTR2.

Google the Team 21 2000GT-R mod, it's pretty good and if you want some classic Japanese cars you can't go wrong with a KPGC10... I think that's the only GTL mod I have, though.

The "career" mode is so addictive, having the AI on their highest difficulty level and coming from the back is a lot of fun, I'm now just getting into the 60s GT races..

That's a chunky lap.

Thinking of getting this, £5 on Steam for a bit of nostalgia seems a no brainer.
