can someone help me tune my toyota gt-one race car because in first and second gear all it wants to do is pell wheels and this makes it hard to win so please help because it is making me mad:mad:

Put your TCS at 1 and try using different gear ratios. Also use the tranny trick. Put the final ratio all the way up. Then put auto all the way up. Then turn auto all the way down. Then adjust your final gear ratio accordingly. Lower the first gear ratios even more if you want to reduce wheel spin. This may not help acceleration if you make the first gear way too low. I can't explain this too well but I hope this helps...

Now in the right forum with a slightly more informative title than "help!!!!!!!!!!!please read!!!!!!!!!".

In a car with this sort of power, i never use 1st gear unless i'm engine-braking in a tight corner...i prefer to launch from the starting line in 2nd instead. But like TRV said, it's all in how you tune your gearbox. 1st gear can be made taller so you won't have any tire-spin. TCS also helps if you're a newb.

If you want 120mph 1st gear do this:
1. move final drive to highest
2. move auto to 1, then move auto 2 or higher if you want faster 1st gear
3. move final drive to lowest.
4. move 1st gear to lowest

Well atleast the 1st gear is looooooong so the tire only spin at first gear . Controlling the car in corner is different matter :p. And since in most track we should be using 1st gear most of the time, it would become challenging :D.

On the serious side, if we use long gearing spin will be reduced. With reduced spin, we gained more control. And hopefully with more control we can win. In my opinion this is better than using TCS.

Off course this method will only work for car with too much power like GT-One.

Not treating the throttle button as an on/off switch will help with wheelspin too.

And what does "pell" mean anyway?

Yeah there are 3 ways to fix wheel spin.

1) dont use the throttle as an on off switch use it as if you were really driving.

2)Traction Control a panzy move but helpful non the less

3)Gearing it takes time but can be very benifishal
