"Holden your Ground"
as chosen by Week 88 Winner
Swiss Legend.

Further explanation of theme:

In the words of Swiss Legend:
I want you to bring the Commodore or Manaro to any tarmac track, get it close to rumble strips or drift it around a corner.
THE KEY THOUGH: I want to get the feel that you just barely made the corner or bend.


Cars: Holden Commodore or Manaro
Tracks: Any tarmac
Phototravel: Nope

You can use layers for overlay and layer adjustments, but not to alter the geometry and original subject matter of the picture: like adding stickers and body kits, and objects that are not in the original image.

Apply our knowledge of Photomode Photography in real life Photography…and go to the general Photography Forum in GTP, move to GT5:P Photomode (when it haves) or just let it all die like it never happened. I also like it here, but the lack of time and inspiration to do anything, has hold me from submitting.
 
Just to let everyone know, I'm still here. I just don't really like the theme. Where's NTX gone, anyway? I'm itching for voting in the tourney.

Really, this is a sudden slowdown. Maybe (unlikely) it has something to do do with the US Thanksgiving? That accounts for some of it. Or maybe Muffar (sp?) has taken our spirit with him?

I'll try to post something up, but I can't guarantee that it will be any good.
 
I think we should keep 2.0 and PMC comp. only. I like coming here a lot, and I like GT4 photomode more than real life photos.

+1 👍 That was what I though. There is too many competitions for the active users in the Photomode scene.
 
I also enjoy Unedited and I think it should be one of the comps. CCCL is definitely the weakest and Drift is unnecessary. I could live with just PMC and 2.0, though.

I promise that I'll have something in for this shortly.
 
We should keep un-edited for all of the up-and-coming new people. Competing with people like LdS, Swiss, NTX, etc in PMC and 2.0 can seem overwhelming and hard to deal with because you guys are just sooo good. But un-edited is just "good ole fashioned" in-game capture skills and no ps involved. But yeah, CCCL and drift are good comps but kinda dead and unescesarry.
 
I think I agree with having just 3 comps.
It would really streamline things. And since it's so dead...It could salvage whats left.

Or just waiting for the next GT? With so many years between the games I think it's a miracle this has been going on for so long! 👍 When GT5 gets here I'm sure there'll be stuff going on again. (GT5 has a Photomode, right?)

I too like it here but I'm feeling pretty much done with GT4. I also just bought a PS3 and GT5P (yeah!), my good old PS2 is unplugged now and will stay unplugged. I still have some stock photos left that I can enter here if the theme is right but apart from that, I hope I see you guys on the other side when GT5 arrives! 👍

they said that gt5 was coming out around christmas 09, which was 4 years from gt4's release and gt4 was released 4 years after gt3
 
I hope we can in a few more entries before I close this tomorrow. We need to start repping this portion of the site again! Most people stop by once in awhile (even the old pros) and say "oh I forgot about this", then leave again.
