Since there is no voice chat and I don't see any links to a GTP chat room, I was wondering if there would be any value to creating either of these.

You could just chat with GTPers that weren't in game or you could choose a series to compete in. With ventrilo you could substitute the lack of in-game voice. However, you would need a laptop next to you, or have your ps3 near your computer.

If private rooms were ever created this would help faciltate GTP members to let others know the password. It would also carry over to GT5 very easily.

Just a thought.

Glad to hear someone already set it up.

I do have a problem with the network though.

Current local users: 1776 Max: 3601
Current global users: 3214 Max: 4793

This happens with all servers. It could be my settings with the other irc servers I'm on are causing the problems but they should be clean.

Seems to be some kind of shell error. Strange.

Maybe its a firewall thing.. I dunno, I can't fix what I don't see
