Because GTPlanet isn't an official website for Gran Turismo. GTPlanet is just a site created by fans of GT, for fans of GT, to interact and chat. 👍

GTPlanet is not affiliated with Polyphony Digital, since - again - is a fan-made forum for the Gran Turismo Players.

Actually it's "fine" where it is, for variable values of fine. It turns out it was actually a GT6 question:
