It will give you slower times. Depending on how much slower depends on where the engine makes maximum hp and torque. But black screen is like a launch on indy. Some cars that run faster timed launches may lose to a different car on indy that runs a slower time launch.

Just ran 11.722.



When you click the "start" on the SSRX menu, quickly hold press your gas button (I have the "x" button) and then just hold it throughout the run. This will give you more consistent times than if you would be time launching.

So... you said you got the 2.10 patch, then you say you still don't have internet. So you manage to get 2.10, and then go to SSRX to tune? While doing all of this underground with not internet. Pretty cool if you ask me.

My brothers PSN already has the tracks and the DLC cars. SO i used his, but tuned it my self with a bit of help from him. When i get the internet runing ill make my own.
 
Still sounding like you have more than one PSN.
But, you still said you had no internet. How'd you manage to get 2.10 from the computer, then go to SSRX tuning?
 
Cuz i got the patch from the computer at work. Took it home installed it on Nuke's account since he has the SSRX track. Therefore i can test my cars for the 1/4 mile with the 2.10 patch. Janco has my bro on his friends list hell prove to you that we haven't signed on for months due to NO INTERNET!
Any other questions inspector gadget?

I think he's just making sure that you aren't your brother. Don't take offense to his questions even though they are probably annoying.
 
Just setup up your transmission so it doesn't have any lag between shifts. Have 1st gear all the way left, 5th and 6th gears all the way right. Then have your 2nd and 3rd gears setup so there is no lag. Read this to help you out. Whenever I'm done setting up my base transmission, I go do some runs and this is how I perfect the gears:
I look at the tachometer to see what rpm the needle goes to after each shift after the launch. So say shifting to 3rd gives me 6800 rpm, then shifting to fourth gives me 6500 rpm, I would make 3rd longer and the 4th shorter. And I'd keep playing with it.
