Is the GT-R NISMO GT3 '13 a good buy? Need opinions on this car because it looks really nice, but not sure if it is efficient performance wise

Thanks, really appreciate it. I made a risky move and purchased it even though I was saving up for the 787B ;)

:gtplanet:

1. It's cheap.
2. Cuz Kaz drove it in the 24hr Nurb.
3. Cuz it's the highest PP stock GT3 car in the game.
4. When tuned it's a beast around the Nordschleife.

Thanks champ, really needed that^ I was gonna do the 24 hour nurb aswell. Also when tuning if I up the LSD to max on the back wheels and I put the acceleration sensitivity to full will this make my car faster? (Using this setup for a drag race)

It's also the heaviest car in its class. Other lighter cars might be better
Sometimes I prefer a heavier car as it can be easier to handle at some corners, but lighter is faster
Too bad this car can't have any weight reductions :(

This car can have weight reduction but only until 1300. To me that is still too heavy unlike other without weight reduction it's 1200 +

Wasn't good enough for me in the IA 600 pp WTC races, at least the 15th AE version. The suspension settings were very strange, guess PD never read the Camber thread.

I found it to be a terrible car compared to other gt3 cars... handling is all over the place... only those crappy Red Bull things handle worse so far for me

This car after you buy need to tune if not handles very badly. I had difficulty turning in before I tuned it. When in gt5 I only use gtr for all my winning race. That y I bought it.

Is this a joke?

It won't turn if you do that.

I did a basic tune on it but obviously it needs a lot more and I can't be bothered atm when there are better handling cars already available in the same class... maybe if there is ever a time trial or something with it as the only choice :P

Although they are more expensive, you would be better off with a GT500 class GT-R, those things are seriously quick despite their deceptively low PP level.

I reckon it feels heavy & sluggish compared to other cars in this class. Theres plenty of cars I'd have in front of it but if your a fan & you like it go for it. There are worse cars you could buy.

Yeah... It's not too bad...Truthfully a lot of the GT3 cars are tuned more for distance driving (which of course makes total sense) rather than the shorter sprints you typically run in GT6. As a result a lot of them tend to be really stable, but a bit understeery... Around the same PP I usually end up running built GT500 cars pretty successfully.

Either way I did buy the GTR GT3 Base Model and although it's not my most frequent driver, it still looks great and I enjoy it from time to time.

Wait, is this for drag racing? The GT3s are all FR... Maybe 4wd would be better?

Thinking they Handle like in GT5 but kind of disappointed so didn't bother to waste money on lightening the car. Putting it where it suppose to be in the garage
