Just recived this beauty, gave it some paint and took it to the track. So glad i won a premium car with my lv. 9 ticket. Then I went confused about it beeing a premium or not becouse there is NO interior view. I really wanted to see this car behind the wheels and not by its bumber.... 👎 Really hope that SONY will let DP be finishd with GT6 despite of delays after delays..

It ain't premium... but I guess you already figured that out :)

Yes, it is premium. A cockpit doesn't necessarily definite whether a car is premium or standard, but the level of detail does. In this case the car simply doesn't have an interior since I don't think the real car even had one designed at that time. This car was made for Prologue with the PS3 graphics engine, making it a premium car.

I'd say whether the game calls it premium or standard is a pretty good definition.

If you've found a car marked [P] ingame without a modelled interior and cockpit view, feel free to prove it.

No one really knows, that's what makes the whole thing exciting :)

Been waiting with baited breath........and now we have some action...

FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT....

(it's that ''is a car premium or standard'' thing again, we all know how this ends uip)...

The GT-R Proto '05 is in the dealership. No more proof is needed.

The showcar never had an interieur. I mean the real Proto 05. So, PD can't add a interieur if there was never one. Well, to be honest, the car was not drivable aswell, just a 1:1 model, made of fiber plastic and steel frame.

So you could rather discuss wether it's OK to offer cars that never really been on the road or not. Well, most of the concept cars can't drive in real world or just 5 km/h max

For the record -- looking at it in the dealership the windows are dark like on the standards, so I might very well be wrong on this.

The black mask, which I assume this one is, doesn't have an interior as the car it was modelled from didn't have an interior. Was the same in prologue. You can't have what doesn't exist sadly.

I also realised this and I can only confirm that it is a premium car, as I find it under the tab premium in my garage, but it has no interior view. Well, the reason seems to be obvious, due to the explanations given. However, one question remains...I cannot remember that there has been any car in GT5P without a cockpit view. So, as the GTR Proto was part of the lineup of GT5P, it ought to have a cockpit view there, doesn't it?

Okay, it seems like it had no cockpit in prologue, seeing the above comment. Seems my browser didn't refresh in time :)
Still I really cannot remember that there was even one car in prologue without cockpit and I was quite sure I had them all :/

I seem to remember mention of this some time ago ... I have a feeling it had something to do with the actual cars interior not being complete at the time?

I had one in prolouge(won it from the S events) and it didn't have a cockpit, so there you go everythings sorted:tup:

They (Nissan) never designed a cockpit for this (Concept) car, as a result, it was Impossible for PD to design one for this car. This was also the result in GT5.Prologue, and will be forever since a cockpit will never be designed. They needed to tint the windows because otherwise you would see absolutely nothing in the car. Regardless of this, this car is still a premium car, and has all the characteristics of one, just without a cockpit.
