Glad to see they haven't backed off of their bias towards the GTR. It just wouldn't be Gran Turismo if they didn't give it a ridiculously unrealistic advantage.

Actually I find it a touch stiff compared to other games I've played. It takes some tuning to free it up.

It's still by far my favorite car, although I am beginning to love the Zonda!!

^^^ The 911 line has looked the same since the age of the dinosaurs... OOOHHH how interesting.. :p But lets not let this thread descend into a Porsche vs Nissan war... To each his own!

I'm a fan of both but Im curious is it just me or does this spec V have a tendency to understeer? Could be my bad driving too but i just wanted some opinions on this.

Very True.... got it running 868BHP at the moment... :p Top speed is near 390 KPH... :)

i fully modified the v-spec and the max HP is 826 horses. how did you get 868? i did full engine, turbo stage 3 and all the possible mods. tell me your secret.

What do you mean ? :) In a real life GTR is putting to shame a bunch of cars with bigger engines, more power, and less weight, so yes, it is in a big advantage over everything, expecially non-japanese cars...

I seem to have this too, the car is great otherwise.

I find the R35 range boring to drive. A fully worked F430 Scuderia on sport soft tyres is my favourite drive.

Make sure you oil change new cars before you do anything with it (gives an HP boost) and put miles on it... In the beginning your breaking in the engine so the HP will go up a bit... I got about 250 miles on it and its up to 868... its been a bit stagnant since then so I think that is the cap for me...

That was slightly hypocritical.

First off there was some sarcasm there... and what about you coming into a GTR thread and mentioning and going on about Porsche... There are Porsche threads for that....

Yup. GTR Fans, just forget about the ACR, right? lol

Doesn't surprise me the GTR is still..... God? Afterall, it's like Swiss cheese having holes. Don't think about it, it just is and always will be.

The GTR is good for going Fast with an EZ Mode car.

I bought one of these cars yesterday in hopes of finding something racing-modifiable.. (it isn't)

I raced my GT-R V Spec yesterday bone stock with only racing tires. You're correct, it is an absolute joy to drive.

Porsche are in the game. What do you think RUF is? Take porsche, make little mods, replace badge.

Isn't nearly the same. Anyways, there is no 911, no 997. That is like taking the R33 LM Road Car, make little mods, replace badge and saying "Here you go Skyline fanboys, this is all your going to get!"

Not even close.

Probably a good thing Porsche isn't in the game though. 917k? Domination over old cars. 956/962? Domination over Group C. 959? Why not, let's add in a car for Rally! w00t!

So i was looking how fast this car gets from 0-60 (guesstimate really, i couldnt see it EXACTLY) but when i looked up i saw 2.4 seconds. BEAST

RUF cars are Porsche with mods, they look the same, they have similar levels of power and the handling is basicly the same. Any differences aside these are basicly the same cars. In a game where cars are nowhere near accurate compared to a professional simulator (like the racing teams would use, Rfactor Pro for example) the difference would equal 0.

So yes, porsche are in the game, if you don't look at the badge.

Edit : The 0-60 on a GT-R Vspec 09' is said to be 3.2 seconds, top speed 200mph

Actually there is a video on top gears uk site, that shows some Japanese scientist testing it, and it sets a time of 3,046 seconds. And it's supposed to be even quicker under the right weather conditions....

It will always vary depending on air pressure, the type of surface and a matter of other things. If you ran it at a drag strip it would be a lot faster than if you ran it on a street.

Either way the car is nothing short of incredible.
