I do wonder if Webber would find an interest, to finally race at Bathurst.

2 Astons, not bad. :D Nice to see the Aston GT8 in SP8! :D

2 Bentleys for the race then run by the Abt team compared to 3 last year.

Didn't realise SCG still raced the P4/5 alongside the SCG003C. Cool.

Having Webber down here for the 12 hour would be great, for sure. Maybe the Walkinshaw program might entice him now? Especially if they do get backing from Porsche Aus for the event.

Earl Bamber could be a possibility too.

Mark Webber was planning on doing the 12 Hour last year with Eric Bana, I guess those plans fell through though unfortunately. Having all these international drivers and teams come down for the 12 Hour is great and all, but imagine the publicity of a Hollywood actor teaming up with an Australian sporting icon. 👍

Don't forget to root for our own "GT-planet" driver Christopher "Christhedude" Zoechling in the ADAC N24 2016 race. He's in the only Lambo (SP9) with only one co-driver. He was really fast (qual) at Sebring 12H until the car broke. 2:nd place at the 24H of Dubai aint to bad either ;)

We've got the flags ready! :gtpflag: :gtpflag: :gtpflag: :gtpflag: :gtpflag: :gtpflag:

We sure get spoiled for Motorsport coverage down here. It might not always be live, aside from major world championships and V8s, but it's something!

That's a shame. Good team. Hope they do return in 2017.
Ditto.

Other news. The Formula 4 cars that were to be at Lime Rock have been cancelled. Crawford falling behind on production.
PWC classes to fill the void, so to speak.

Also at Lime Rock on Tuesday there is a scheduled test session for PWC and IMSA.

The Walkinshaw 911 in last place after going off on a slippery track. Kept off the wall.
Lamborghini in the pit after spinning off.
Drying track. 56minutes to go. Good stuff.

That was crazy, how the hell didn't he hit the wall? Shame as well because John looked pretty quick in the car at the start. Anyway, nice recovery to bring it home in 7th.

Not good in GT3 at Perth right now. The R8 into the pit entry wall. Driver reported he feels pain in the lower back.

Race suspended at the moment.

Yeah, that was a nasty one. The race has been suspended just now.

Nice of Walkinshaw to, kind of, shoot down hopes of Tander and Courtney to get a spin of the 911.

They should be less focused on getting a go in the 911 and more focused on winning some races in V8SC.

Geoff Emery is on his way to hospital as we speak.

Tander will probably be behind the wheel of Tony's Aston anyway.

They'll have at least, six drivers and 3 cars for the 12H(I'm hoping it's confirmed).

Wishing all the best to Geoff Emery, that was a nasty hit. :scared:

Quite a good main race today at Brands Hatch in the BlancPain sprint, not quite the best I've ever seen but it's definitely up there.
