Spoiler: Workaround (PATCHED in 1.59)

1. Select a car in your garage that is incompatible with a track.
2. Choose any track (recommended one with the least amount of restrictions in this list) and set up a Custom Race.
- Note that if your current car is not allowed, this won't work.
3. In the Custom Grid, select cars that are incompatible with another track.
- Ex. Hyundai IONIQ 5 is incompatible in Tsukuba Circuit, but you can select this car in Laguna Seca.
4. Save your settings and load them in another track, where the grid has incompatible cars.
- Ex. Loading a grid full of Hyundai IONIQ 5's in Tsukuba Circuit
5. Load your settings, and the whole grid will be forcefully replaced with your current car, meaning that it's possible for Sophy AI to use the newly added cars in the 1.57 update and others.

I was doing a Sophy One-Make race with the stock Aston Martin Vantage '18 at Trial Mountain, and there is some odd behavior in the turn after the second straight. They tend to overshoot into the wall. Is it one of the broken cases? 😂

After some skimming, it seems that the rest of the incompatible cars for the rest of the tracks remains the same. Catalunya GP is the only track that is compatible with cars from previous updates (Aston Martin Vantage '18, Mercedes Benz Unimog, etc).

Also, the bypass method for using incompatible cars has been patched in this update.

It has to be trained individually for literally every single car and track combination - and as you can expect, this completely flies out the window once you add tuning to the equation. It's not a very efficient system at all.

I was wondering the other day of another possible method for bypassing: Using GT Sophy Custom Race while having only 1 car in your garage.

By default, when you load a grid that has an incompatible car, it gets replaced with a car in your garage that is closest to the PP of your current car. But, what would happen to the grid if you own only 1 car and it's incompatible with the track? I don't know.
I don't feel like bothering to make a new account for a fresh garage at the moment. So if any of you have the chance to test this theory, let me know!

Someone has pointed out in the Undocumented Change thread that more cars became incompatible to use for some Sophy tracks. Although the person used the Nissan GT-R Premium edition T-spec '24 & Dragon Trail as an example (which is not correct), a bunch of Nissan models did became incompatible in the 1.60 update.

It's reasonable why the Nissan GT-R LM NISMO '15 became more incompatible (the physics was changed for that car), but not sure why for the rest of them though.
