I don't remember mindlessly bashing Assetto Corsa, I just said that if the guy doesn't want unrealistic hot air balloons, he can go play a different game with similar tracks that feature much less in the way of interesting set pieces.

The GT3's engine sound is impressive for Gran Turismo standards, but that's not saying much.

I've driven Willow Springs many times.

Nice car. But you are not always there.

.... and balloons steer clear of this particular area, because the winds are ripping almost always, and they're unpredictable. Those hills would be littered with shredded nylon & wicker, and little white crosses.

I'm looking at the weather forecast for today and it says 2 meters per second, which is well within the limits of flying balloons.
