GT Sport (November) Update Theory Discussion

The very reason the FM franchise has continued to gain mindshare on GT (if not sales) is because their community relations are unmatched

I feel there is plenty going on with all the races at Salzburg then Catalunya and tomorrow in Japan, then the European and American heats plus PD are putting up multi language streams, and promoting it in game. This is a step up and the last month I have been feeling more community and more buzz than ever.

You are right, PD could do better and traditionally have been quiet but perhaps they realise if GT Sport is going to be a viable E Sport they have to speak up and put it out there. We can only hope. Personally I am trying not to think too much about the next updates because I think they are giving us all they can so it won't be say 100 cars or all the old tracks, and there is some amazing racing to watch in the mean time.

What are the odds of seeing new content in the forthcoming GT World Tour event?

Here’s a thought though. What’s the ONE thing that would cause the GT community to absolutely lose their proverbial?

Not just one thing but I feel like variations to an existing fantasy track... and MORE $20 mil. cars.

The opposite would obviously be Spa and a slew of the classic most wanted PD classic cars like the Toyota 7, Chaparral 2j, the golden age Japanese JGTC cars...

I'm sure people also want their cars they had in the past... the FINA BMW McLaren F1, the Ueno Clinic McLaren... the greatest of the greatest.

The return of Grand Valley. Out of all the old fictional tracks it's one I think deserves to return the most. At the very least they do have Deep Forest in the pipeline but who knows when that'll be ready.

I'm mostly refraining from any kind of update speculation beyond some specific cars coming back but I at least hope we get something special for the anniversary update, whatever it may be.

Unlikely, it's early October and all of the combinations have been revealed. If there is new content, it would in the form of a new car fitting into one of the announced groups.

I'm thinking this GTI

Complex String coming to GT Sport, people would lose their minds....not because of happiness.

He didn't sign any NDAs?Anyone who knows a car is coming to GTS can talk about it?I know we had people talk about cars coming to the GT Franchise but he gets very specific saying the car is coming soon

Introduce multi class racing to Gran turismo, give us Daytona (both layouts, oval and road course), give us the 2018 NASCAR's, bring back rain so wet tires can actually be used, support for the thrustmaster led display, more wheel options so the player can get it more to their liking because currently it's barley anything there for the player to mess around with.

Right now, I'm watching the morning race for Touring car Masters at Bathurst. We need the '69 Camaro and Shelby GT350R back in. Add Mount Panorama to Nostalgic Amateur & Professional events.

So, theoretically the update will probably look like this ( if we even gonna get an update lol ):
1) some big fixes, fuji Speedway added to circuit experience, some GT league content..
2) track - it will be either some iconic GT track ( aka deep forest trail mountain, grandvalley etc ) or some real track ( Laguna Sega, spa, Silverstone etc )
3) cars: 9 or 12 cars will be added, most of them will be premiums from GT6, some standards from GT4 and maybe even some totally new cars..
